The CyberHero x Donatov.net “Winter Is Coming” MLBB tournament delivered two weeks of competitive MLBB action. Bringing together more European teams for one of the biggest CIS-focused MLBB events of the year.
They’ve also invited top teams from Indonesia and the Philippines to participate in the tournament. Held from December 4 to 14, 2025, the B-Tier tournament featured a $100,000 prize pool and culminated in an offline playoff showdown in Saint Petersburg, Russia.
A total of 10 MLBB teams took part in the event. Blending more EECA contenders with internationally recognized organizations. The tournament structure was designed to test consistency and adaptability, beginning with a Swiss Stage. That quickly separated the top performers from the rest. Teams were required to navigate a series of best-of-one and best-of-three matches, with only those reaching three wins advancing further.
Following the Swiss Stage, surviving squads entered the Decider Stage, where the pressure intensified under a double-elimination format.
Every match carried significant weight, as teams fought for limited playoff spots.
The competition reached its peak during the Playoffs, held from December 13 to 14 at MTS Live Hall. There, Indonesia’s EVOS and the Philippines’ ONIC Philippines were waiting for the remaining two teams that moved on from the Decider Stage. Once again using a double-elimination bracket, the playoffs featured longer series, including best-of-three and best-of-five matches. The offline setting added another layer of intensity, with teams performing on stage in front of a live audience.

During the early stages of the playoffs, everybody was shocked to see Verso Time beat not only EVOS in the first round of the playoffs but also ONIC PH during the Upper Bracket Finals. Verso Time was the first one to go to the Grand Finals, showcasing the growth of the region.
ONIC PH, however, bounced back to the Grand Finals, narrowly defeating EVOS in a grueling 5-game match in the Lower Finals. In the end, ONIC PH won the tournament 3-1 against Verso Time, still proving that ONIC PH is still one of the strongest teams in the world.
Overall, CyberHero Winter Is Coming stood out as a well-structured tournament that contributes to the steadily growing community of EECA MLBB. It not only offered a meaningful prize pool but also served as an important proving ground for EECA teams.
Especially those teams looking to make a statement heading into the next competitive season. It is nice to see 3rd party tournaments emerging to give us more MLBB action before the culmination of 2025, ending with the M7 MLBB World Championship soon.
