Team Liquid PH took their 6th win against their brothers, now rivals, leading to their last game today to a clean record. Regardless of the loss, TNC Pro Team has shown that they can go toe to toe against the top seed of the tournament.

TNC Pro Team debuted their substitute Gold Laner, Benedict “Bennyqt” Gonzales, which was the former Gold Laner of Team Liquid PH before Kiel “Oheb” Soriano. Alongside Bennyqt was former Team Liquid PH substitute jungler, Justine “Zaida” Palma, and former Team Liquid PH roamer, Tristan “Yawi” Cabrera.

TNC Rises up to the Challenge against current Top Seed, Team Liquid PH

According to TNC’s main team consultant, Dogie, he wanted to match up against Team Liquid with their former members to increase the hype and know which members of the entire history of the team, are the strongest. This created a lot of noise in social media, which a lot of people started to discuss if Team Liquid PH made the right decision about their roster changes.

TNC: ALWAYS RISE

TNC Pro Team is continuing to rise up in the ranks, after their 4 season streak of being last place in the league. They even beat Team Liquid PH on Game 2, which only Smart Omega has done for this season. They are really considered now as the dark horse of the tournament this season for beating Aurora Gaming and Team Liquid PH, even for just one game. They are now currently placed in 5th after their loss today, which is a good spot to be in to get a spot in the Playoffs.

TNC PRO TEAM VS TEAM LIQUID PH

Game 1

TNC Pro Team had a huge early game advantage, taking early towers and neutral objectives but Team Liquid PH played for their timings on their power spikes to surprise TNC with their counterattack. After taking the Lord at minute 22 and 35 seconds, Team Liquid ended the game with their final push with the lord as Oheb led them to victory.

Game 2

Like game 1, TNC Pro Team had a wider lead as Zaida’s Fanny flew across the map to help his team get an advantage. While Zaida was coursing through each teamfight dealing massive damage, Bennyqt was there to finish the job, snowballing to win game 2.

Game 3

Game 3 may be considered as one of the greatest games by far in the season. TNC cornered Team Liquid PH putting them in the backfoot for the entire game but couldn’t finish the win. The “Babycakes Duo”, KarlTzy and Oheb, carried the cavalry’s flag to victory as they were the only ones left for the final crucial teamfight against 3 members of the Phoenix Army.

All 3 games had TNC leading early game as if the they know how Team Liquid PH goes about their early game routine. When Team Liquid PH’s heroes were picked, they already know what their functions are and where they would likely go during the early game.

“We already know them and their picks” (“Kilala na namin sila pati yung mga pickings nila eh.”), Yawi commented.
