All eyes are on MPL PH Season 15 as the official tournaments of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang in 2025 start with the strongest region in the world. With everybody predicting how the placements will go, here’s my power ranking to check out and everything we know about each of the teams taking part.

ONIC PH (OP)
Just like their name suggests, OP are currently too overpowered for teams to easily beat. They have dominated all the top teams in every region, claiming themselves the title of the current best team in the world. Despite them facing the bests of the world has to offer, they have mentioned that being in their own region’s league is harder than being in any international tournament. They now have a chance to cement their legacy in MLBB history. The only ones standing in their way are their own countrymen, as the gatekeepers for their Golden Road.
Team Falcons (FLCN)
Still in their world class form, Team Falcons are a close second to ONIC PH. After their entire roster won the MLBB World Championship in 2024, things have been consistently above average when it comes to their gameplay. Until now, they would still have a podium finish but not what was back then where they would always win it all. Regardless, they are still favored to go to the Grand Finals but they need to have a new edge or a new playstyle if they want to win again. Hopefully, they are not yet in their final form.
Team Liquid PH (TLPH)
We have another roster full of accolades and championships in their belts. A newly acquired Gold Laner by the name of OHEB will need to adjust according to the team’s already-built chemistry. Luckily, his playstyle matches with his partner Roamer, Jaypee, much like his past peak era with OhMyV33nus in Blacklist International during 2021-2022. Team Liquid is still looking for their foothold and best form if they want to be considered again as one of the top teams in the international scene. The cavalry needs to support the team if they want the GOAT KarlTzy back in his place.
Aurora MLBB (RORA)
Made to be a super team, Aurora MLBB has proven themselves to be in line with the top performing teams in the region. There’s only one thing. Casters like Mirko and Gonie from MPL Indonesia have branded them as a team who’s “consistently inconsistent” having good days and off days equally. They sometimes lose to teams they should be dominating while winning to teams they should be having difficulty with. Nevertheless, they will most likely make it to the Playoffs and have another chance to get into International Tournaments, the same way they did last season.
Smart Omega (OMG)
The viper that strikes when teams don’t expect it the most goes by the name of Smart Omega. Smart Omega has always been the dark horse that nobody expects to win especially the most difficult matchups in the league. They have been unpredictable ever since they entered the league. Smart Omega is the only team that took down ONIC PH and had an upset win, breaking their perfect run in the Regular Season.
TNC Pro Team (TNC)
With the overhaul of the entire roster, TNC Pro Team suddenly became a star-studded team. A lot of well-known players, including a world champion by the name of Yawi, is back and ready for action to lead the team out of always getting Top 8. Teams and Talents have speculated that this roster will finally go to at least the Playoffs. The phoenix army will finally rise!
AP.Bren (APBR)
Picking up the banner of the 2-time world champion team, the full roster of Lazy Esports is ready to face the veterans in the league. They came from the development league of the official tournament before but are now up against the greats the region has to offer. This includes their predecessors, now Team Falcons, which they must face in the near future. The weight of the shadows left by the previous roster can either be a burden or a motivation.
Twisted Minds (TWM)
They were the previous roster of Blacklist International with new additions to their roster. They seemed pretty inconsistent with their recent tournament, losing to AP.Bren’s current roster, giving them the possible lowest rank in the league. It’s easier to underestimate a newly formed team now and be proven wrong than giving them expectations to even make playoffs. We might witness another miracle run is in store for us.
The MPL PH S15 will begin this February 28, 2025 and will continue for 8 weeks to determine the teams who will be moving on the playoffs. Make sure to tune in the action by watching through their official Facebook and Youtube channels.
