The MPL S16 regular season is getting closer to its conclusion, with only two weeks to get before it wraps up. We’ve had some delays in different MLBB esports regions so far thanks to some weather, but things are getting started again. The current standings of the teams are showing one running away with it, but there’s plenty still to be decided with the teams further down.
Once MLBB MPL PH S16 Week 7 and 8 complete, we’ll move forward to the next stage. After Week 6 saw delays from a typhoon, things are looking interesting this week. Aurora Gaming might still be the clear leader of the pack, but there’s a lot of room for change in the standings this week. This is what’s coming and the key matches ahead:
Aurora Gaming Still Surging Ahead in MPL PH S16 Week 7
Looking at the current standings, there’s one team who are running away with things so far this season. Aurora Gaming. They’ve nearly had a clean run through the regular season so far. With this kind of a lead, they’re a lock for the playoffs. But can anyone get closer to their position and stop it being a one-horse race?
Team Liquid PH and ONIC Philippines are both biting at the heels of this leading team. They’re among the best MLBB teams in the region. Liquid with a 7-4 result so far and ONIC Philippines at 6-4. ONIC are facing Team Falcons in Day 1, which should be an easy win for them. Against Twisted Minds PH though, things will be tighter. Team Liquid PH have a closer match up against Omega Esports. Both teams could further their lead as we head into MPL S16 Week 7.
