First Stand 2025

First Stand is the first cross-regional event for League of Legends in the 2025 season. The event takes place between March 10-16th.

First Stand 2025 Format & Teams

Starting Monday through Friday, a single Group will host all teams in a round-robin style best-of-three series format. Everyone except the last team will advance forward into the Knockout stage. After the initial stage, the four remaining teams will be drawn into a single-elimination bracket, and the semifinal and final will be played over the weekend.

Fearless Draft will be played in all series in all stage of this event.

Every participant at this event won their season opening regional league, and will now fight for their region and preferential seeding. The five teams qualified are as follows:

2. Top Esports (LPL)
3. Karmine Corp (LEC)
4. Team Liquid (LTA)
5. CTBC Flying Oyster (LCP)

First Stand Prize Pool

Riot Games have set aside $1,000,000 as the total prize pool for First Stand 2025. Additionally, the winning region will earn preferential seeding for MSI 2025 and the second team from their region will get to skip the MSI Play-In stage.
