T1 will officially open its second T1 BASE CAMP (TBC) in Haeundae, Busan, on December 12, 2025. The Korean organization confirmed the news on Friday, marking a new step in its ambition to create genuine community hubs centered around esports.

Following the Hongdae venue, which introduced the concept, T1 is continuing its expansion with a space designed for playing, watching competitions, meeting fellow fans, and immersing oneself in the team’s identity. The name “BASE CAMP” evokes a gathering point for fans, while “TBC – To Be Continued” reflects the organization’s desire to keep pushing forward.

Busan wasn’t chosen by chance. The city remains one of South Korea’s historic esports strongholds, especially after hosting the quarterfinals and semifinals of Worlds 2023. Located in the lively Gunam-ro district, the new venue adopts a design that differs significantly from Hongdae’s. Called “Fortress,” the concept is built around a circular layout that naturally encourages visitors to explore. The space prominently features the club’s iconic red-and-black colors, amplified by bright, futuristic lighting.

The Busan BASE CAMP will also introduce several exclusive features, including a PC Café and a T1 Shop for merch, as well as the country’s first esports-themed pub: the T1 PUB. Designed as a social hub, it will offer giant screens for watching live matches, along with food and drinks inspired by T1 players. Additional zones round out the experience: an expanded T1 Arena for tournaments, events, and viewing parties now supporting 6v6 matchups, an immersive racing simulator called T1 Racing, and T1 CUBE, a modular area for exhibitions, programs, and various branded activations.

The new T1 BASE CAMP will also serve as a platform for developing the next generation of competitive talent. Through an enhanced partnership with T1 Esports Academy, the venue will host amateur tournaments, training sessions, and even tryouts for their third team—helping fuel the local esports scene and offering pathways for young players.

Following the early opening of the T1 PUB and T1 SHOP on October 14, the venue will enter a soft opening phase on December 10, before its full grand opening two days later. With this new location, T1 hopes to bring its community even closer together and bolster the prestige of a club that has already been crowned Worlds champion six times.

Be warned, his articles can sometimes ooze a little too much of his lack of objectivity towards the French scene and players…
