Nongshim RedForce records over 7 billion KRW revenue for FY 2025

Nongshim RedForce could be an underdog team for 2026

Through a LinkedIn post, the CEO of the team, Jihwan Oh, has confirmed the organization’s financial health and that 2025 will be the first year to record over 7 billion KRW (~$4.8 million) in revenues, according to a report by Sheep Esports.

The CEO also revealed that the reliance on funding from the parent company, Nongshim, a global F&B brand, has been reduced this year to below 30%. The esports team has been able to generate increasing revenues from esports league distributions, prize money, as well as other key business areas such as the academy programs and PC room services, something the team has been actively working on over the past years to counteract the increasing player investments to stay competitive in the league.

Heading into the 2026 season, Nongshim RedForce is looking to further improve its competitive results, bringing in former world champion Lee “Scout” Ye-chan to the mid lane. The Korean player will be competing for the starting spot with Calix, making NS a six-man roster. Other key roster changes were in the jungle and ADC, with Sponge and Taeyoon replacing GIDEON and Jiwoo. Sponge has been one of the rising prospects from the new wave of talents, while Taeyoon has had a strong year in the LPL on Team WE, often showcasing carry performances.

Before kicking off the 2026 season, NS will have a first test of its competitive level in the KeSPA Cup, which kicks off on December 6.
