Riot Games has officially announced that Brazilian esports team Los Grandes (LOS) will be returning to the CBLOL in 2026, one year after leaving the league.

Los Grandes will join CBLOL for 2026

Los Grandes will take over Isurus’ spot

The team will take the spot left by Isurus, who decided to quit after careful consideration regarding the international opportunities given by the Brazilian league. Los Grandes ended up accepting after KaBuM! Ilha das Lendas (KaBuM IDL) refused Riot’s invitation to join, according to famous streamer Baiano.

As a result, Los Grandes ended up being the team willing to take the spot while also guaranteeing the needed stability and competitiveness to compete in tier-one. Alexandre “Kakavel“ Peres, CEO of EZOR, parent company of Los Grandes, expressed himself on the announcement: “We consider the CBLOL a strategic asset for the development of League of Legends in Brazil. The return of LOS to the competition reflects EZOR’s vision to structure sports projects with solid governance, strategic planning, and long-term guidance,” stated Alexandre “Kakavel“ Peres, CEO of EZOR.

LOS, given their status as guest partners, will have to compete in the promotion tournament against the top teams from the 2026 Challenger Circuit and the 2026 Regional League South. If they win, the team will be able to secure a spot once again for 2027.

Los Grandes’ roster has yet to be unveiled for the new season

With the CBLOL kicking off on January 16, the roster lock deadline is still a few weeks away. That said, with many of the major leagues already completing their offseason, Los Grandes now has a tough task to put together a competitive roster as they enter tier one.

According to rumors, the new roster will be formed by:

  • Toplane: Kim “Zest” Dong-Min
  • Jungle: Leandro “Drakehero” Paes Gonçalves
  • Midlane: Jeong “Feisty” Seong-hoon
  • AD Carry: Wallyson “duduhh” Francisco
  • Support: Gabriel “Ackerman” Aparicio
  • Head Coach: Ilias “Enatron” Theodorou

Enatron, in particular, was previously the head coach of Dignitas between 2021 and 2024. Over the last year, he led the French team, Ici Japon Corp. Esport, which competes in the LFL.
