On November 18, legendary Vietnamese Jungler, Đỗ “Levi” Duy Khánh, announced his retirement from professional League of Legends. In an official announcement via his YouTube channel, he announced that he’s officially retiring and plans to head into content creation full-time.
If there’s one player that’s heavily associated with Vietnamese representation in LoL Esports, Levi is the first name that comes to mind. With a career spanning back 10 years, Levi first made his name known with GIGABYTE Marines in 2017. Since then, he’s also played in the LCS and in the LPL, with 100 Thieves and JD Gaming, respectively.
After he returned from his time in the LPL, he found his new home with GAM Esports, an organization that he first joined back in May 2019. While GAM may have failed to qualify for Worlds in 2025, Levi was the driving force behind GAM’s international success. As a 10-time VCS champion, multiple appearances at MSI and Worlds, and even winning the gold medal at SEA Games 31, his legacy is one to be immortalized, especially in the Vietnamese scene.
“The only thing we’re allowed to believe is that we won’t regret the choice we made” – Levi Ackermann
According to his announcement, Levi’s decision behind his retirement was due to wanting to spend more time with his family, with the goal of eventually settling down. He further stated that while he doesn’t feel too old at 28 years old, he’s unable to focus on his goal with the brutal practice regimen that follows the pro player lifestyle.

As for his future, he plans to head into content creation full-time. He will continue to play League of Legends and will continue supporting his region in the LCP (League of Legends Championship Pacific). However, he also plans to branch out to different games (TFT, as mentioned) for his content, with the aim of becoming a top player in the other titles as well.
