With the LEC 2025 Summer set to begin next month, some of the teams not taking part in the Mid-Season Invitational have been working behind the scenes to make some roster changes, hoping to shake things up. With Worlds on the line, let’s take a look at all the rumored roster moves before the third split of the season.
If the rumors are correct, this could be one of the most eye-catching mid-season roster moves in LEC history. According to Sheep Esports, Fnatic will be signing Korean mid laner Poby from T1 Academy. The player will be replacing Humanoid, who has underperformed in the first part of the season. Alongside the mid laner, FNC is also looking to change Oscarinin, although the name has yet to be confirmed.
The timing of the pick-up seems to be quite weird, considering Poby wasn’t an outstanding player in the LCK CL this season and has previously struggled to maintain his footing in the LCK. It’s a risky move from FNC, who is expected to fight for a spot at Worlds.
There are major roster moves from Natus Vincere (NAVI) after acquiring Rogue’s LEC slot. The new team is bringing in jungler Thayger and Korean player Hans SamD in the lineup, with former jungle player Malrang switching to support.
The jungle player, however, will only get one split of time to showcase his potential, as he is expected to be replaced by Turkish jungler Rhilech, who was bought out from BK ROG for the 2026 season. Solo laners Adam and Larssen are also staying on the roster.
Following two disappointing splits, SK continue their roulette of roster changes, hoping to get better results. The entire top side has been swapped out, with jungler Skeanz, mid laner Abbedagge, and Korean import DnDn joining. It sounds a bit of a desperate move, especially considering how Abbedagge comes from a somewhat mediocre split in the LTA North on Disguised. The only interesting pickup is DnDn, who can potentially increase the competition among top laners.
Team BDS’ underperforming spring split brought them to make two roster changes in top and jungle, respectively. After picking up Korean import Rooster from Hanwha Life Esports’ academy team, BDS doubled down by buying out French player Boukada from SK Gaming for a value of close to €200,000, according to Sheep Esports. It might not make the team a title contender but Team BDS is fully committing to building around their new jungler, who is set to be contracted at least until 2026.
The Nisqy experiment failed and Team Vitality is making the second support change in the span of two splits. This time around, however, the pickup is intriguing. Fleshy, one of the most sought-after supports in the ERLs, will finally get his shot in the LEC. With a lot of pressure to deliver results after two 7th-place finishes, this is a do or die moment for the French squad.
