LEC Roadtrips Grow to Five Stops in 2026

Ahead of the start of the new season, Riot Games has officially announced that it will host a total of LEC Roadtrips this season, increasing the number of offline events compared to previous years.

EMEA to have six arena events with five LEC Roadtrips

The five Roadtrips will take place alongside the LEC Summer Finals as well as the studio matches for the majority of the season in Berlin at the Riot Games Arena. According to the tournament organizer, this year’s calendar will also see the change from two days to three days for all Roadtrips, meaning that fans can live the offline adrenaline for a total of 15 days throughout 2026.

Given the popularity and previous success, LEC teams Movistar KOI and Karmine Corp have been confirmed to be the chosen partners for the LEC Roadtrips, with both getting to choose the location and help shape the event around their communities.

The first stop of the 2026 calendar will be in Barcelona, Spain. This marks the first time the city hosts a LEC event, as Movistar KOI will be hosting the 2026 LEC Versus Finals, which will decide the EMEA representative at the first international tournament of the year, First Stand. Tickets are currently available for purchase on the dedicated ticketing website.

LEC Summer Finals 2026 location stays mysterious

Once the first tournament of the season is over, the LEC Spring Split will have two Roadtrips. In April, the action moves to France at Karmine Corp’s own venue in Évry-Courcouronnes, between April 24 and April 26, before moving back two weeks later in Spain at the Madrid Arena, from May 8 to May 10. The venue was already used last year to host the LEC Summer Finals, which determined the three teams going to Worlds 2025.

The same two venues will be used for the LEC Summer split. While the event hosted by MKOI is confirmed at the start of September, the schedule for the one hosted by KC is yet to be confirmed. Below is the summary of all LEC Roadtrips in 2026:

• LEC Versus Finals: February 27 – March 1, 2026 – Olimpic Arena in Badalona
• LEC Spring Roadtrip by Karmine Corp: April 24 – 26 – Les Arenes, Évry-Courcouronnes

While the LEC Roadtrips locations have been revealed, Riot Games has yet to announce the hosting city and venue for the season-end LEC Summer Finals. Fans will likely have to wait a little longer to find out where the fight for the LEC title will take place.
