With the LCK Season Finals already underway, the 2025 season is coming to an end for most teams. Earlier today, and per tradition, the Korean League officially announced the LCK Awards 2025. Despite Gen.G finally getting all its players on the first All-Pro Team, lots of debate sparked for the remaining top two squads.
According to reports by Korean media, the LCK initially planned to announce the winners at the awards ceremony in Korea, which was, however, scheduled to take place after the end of Worlds. This sparked heavy backlash online from the community, with fans questioning why the seasonal awards were revealed so late into the year. As a result of the criticism, the LCK proceeded to announce all the winners.

While Gen.G sweeping all the First All-Pro team was expected, considering their dominant season, the discussion sparked for the second and third All-Pro teams, with voters making diversified choices across all roles.

In the top lane, the votes seemed pretty unanimous, with Kiin, Doran, and Zeus locking out the top three. For jungle, most voted for Canyon, followed by Oner, and Peanut. HLE’s third place, however, was more split than expected, with some voting for KT Cuzz or DK Lucid.
Bdd deservedly received many votes as the second-best mid in the LCK due to the impact and carry potential he brought to KT once again this year. This, however, meant that Faker was pushed back to third place. The GOAT himself also voted as one of the two T1’s representatives, alongside Kkoma. Among his choices, the KT botlane of deokdam and Peter stood out as they were considered for the third All-Pro team. Speaking of bot lane, the votes seemed aligned in here, with Duro, Keria, and Delight locking out the top three again.

Unanimous vote for head coach Kim, who led Gen.G to an incredibly dominant LCK season.

Chovy took the MVP without much doubt or surprise. Gen.G’s mid laner and superstar was undoubtedly the most consistent player of the season and even averaged the highest damage per minute, beating his teammate Ruler and several other ADCs.

The Rookie of the Year vote saw mixed votes between NS Calix, BFX Diable, and DK Siwoo. In the end, it was BFX’s bot lane who came out on top, likely given his carry performances in the first part of the year and his general contribution to the team’s result for the entire season. Calix joined NS later in the year, and while he did put in a good showing, especially considering how stacked the mid lane role is in the LCK, he was probably penalized by it.
