Streamer and content creator Nicholas “Jynxzi” Stewart has ignited the League of Legends scene by announcing his own League of Legends tournament, which will take place on May 11. Here’s everything you need to know on what could be the start of a new era for League of Legends content.
A popular streamer in Rainbow Six Siege, Jynxzi has recently begun his League of Legends journey under the guidance of streamer Dantes “Dantes” Forlini. His recent clip of him taking a win on Master Yi blew up in the League community, with his reactions bringing back early memories of experienced players who have grown up playing LoL.
With his own support and now the attention of the entire community, Jynxzi has announced his own League tournament, featuring creators such as Jimmy “MrBeast” Donaldson, Ludwig Ahgren, and Mark “ohnePixel” Zimmerman.
To celebrate the occasion, Riot Games has confirmed two special drops for the event, including the legendary skin Inkshadow Master Yi. Costing usually 1,820 RP, you will have the chance to earn it for free by tuning into Jynxzi’s event. The tournament will start at 10 PM CET (1 PM Pacific Time).
In the tournament, there are several familiar faces to the League of Legends esports scene, including former pros Yiliang “Doublelift” Peng and Eugene “Pobelter” Park, as well as high elo streamers like Mohammad “Yassuo” Abdalrhman and Tyler “Tyler1” Steinkamp. With the presence of global names like MrBeast and Ludwig, this is set to be one of the most-watched non-esports tournaments ever.

The tournament will be streamed on Jynxzi’s official Twitch channel, with most participants expecting to also stream their own POV, so make sure to check out their streams as well.
