Hanwha Life Esports re-signs Zeus and Zeka for 2026

HLE Zeus and Zeka are the first two players to be confirmed for next year

When Zeus first signed with HLE for the 2025 season, he was under a 1+1 clause in his contract. With both parties in agreement to activate the optional year, Zeus will represent HLE once again for 2026. As for Zeka, 2026 will serve as his fourth season with the team.

HLE has had a very successful year in 2025. Kicking off the season by winning the LCK Cup 2025 and First Stand 2025, they continued to remain at the top of the standings for most of the 2025 LCK season. However, Gen.G proved to be an obstacle they were unable to overcome, as HLE fell to them both in the LCK 2025 Season Finals and in the Worlds quarterfinals.

This announcement follows shortly after HLE officially announced the exit of their legendary jungler, Han “Peanut” Wang-ho, and botlaner Park “Viper” Do-hyeon. Multiple reports suggest Seo “Kanavi” Jin-hyeok and Lee “Gumayusi” Min-hyung will fill the vacant roles, which will not only mean that Kanavi is finally returning to the LCK, and that Zeus will be reunited with his former T1 teammate.

HLE’s goal has always been to be on top, whether that’s in the LCK or at international tournaments. The re-acquisition of these two former World Champions have laid the foundations for HLE’s successful run in 2026: will they be able to topple the dynasties of the two teams that always proved to be their biggest hurdles, T1 and Gen.G?
