We’ve seen a ton of amazing play at the League of Legends Worlds 2024. With just three matches left until a champion is crowned, let’s take a look at a few of the best players at Worlds 2024.

T1’s star ADC player Lee “Gumayusi” Min-hyeong has been having one of the best tournaments of his career, and that’s saying something. Not only is he farming like a beast at 10.4 CS/minute, he’s team fighting as if he’s immortal. Gumayusi did not die a single time in T1’s quarterfinals match against TOP Esports. His KDA is the highest at Worlds for ADC’s and he’s dealing the second most damage per minute among them.
Guma and his support partner Ryu “Keria” Min-seok have been unstoppable for T1. That said, they’ll face their biggest challenge of the tournament on Sunday against Gen.G and their world-beating bot lane. T1 stands a great chance at winning Worlds 2024.

Speaking of Gen.G, the LCK’s most consistent team has made it this far as expected. While you can argue for almost any one of their players being the best in their role so far at Worlds 2024, jungler Kim “Canyon” Geon-bu has been the glue that has kept them together.
Gen.G struggled immensely in the Quarterfinals against FlyQuest. You might even say that without Canyon’s confidence to pull out Nidalee twice, they could have gone home in embarrassing fashion. Instead, Gen.G pulled through and will get their chance at a Worlds Finals appearance. Canyon is going to have to be on point as usual for Gen.G to beat a surging T1.

Spoilers: We have Zhuo “knight” Ding on this list but not Jeong “Chovy” Ji-hoon. Before you close the page, let us explain. Knight has been playing an amazing tournament for what BLG requires of him. He is in the bottom three mid laners at Worlds in terms of gold share and cs/minute. Yet, knight is fourth best in kill participation and fifth in overall KDA. Also, he’s dealing the most damage per minute of any mid laner still in the tournament. Yes, more than Chovy.
As if that wasn’t enough, knight has done all of this while playing 12 games, the third most behind FLY and WBG, and playing the most unique champions among mid laners at nine. BLG is giving him zero resources, both in game and in draft, and he’s still one of the big reasons why BLG is in the Semifinals.

Call it an honorable mention, but FlyQuests’s Fahad “Massu” Abdulmalek won the hearts of the western League of Legends world with his admirable performance this Worlds. While we could have given this spot to Gabriël “Bwipo” Rau or Kacper “Inspired” Słoma who both played incredible as well, Massu has to be the player at Worlds who overperformed expectations the most.
This was Massu’s first ever Worlds and he was playing like he was a veteran. To out-carry the likes of Kim “Peyz” Su-hwan in numerous fights throughout the Gen.G series is an accomplishment for any western ADC. Hopefully his trajectory continues upward and we see him in more big games.
