100 Thieves are heading to Worlds 2025 for one last dance. The North American squad dominated RED Canids with a clean 3–0 sweep in the LTA Regional Championship this past Sunday, securing the region’s third and last spot for the season-end tournament in China.

100 Thieves Defy Expectations and Make Surprise Entry
After announcing their departure from the LTA, before the start of Split 3, fans had already written 100 Thieves off from title contention, especially considering how the past splits went for the team.
Instead, the team decided to flip the entire script. Led by Quid’s explosive performances, which allowed him to earn his spot on the LTA first All-Pro Team, and the return to the stage of top laner veteran Dhokla, 100 Thieves fought its way through the lower bracket of the North Conference to punch a ticket in the Regional Championship.
And after taking down paiN Gaming, 100Thieves proceeded to do the same against Brazil’s RED Canids, who had narrowly defeated Shopify Rebellion in the first round. Despite the impressive run from RED, their hopes of qualifying for Worlds have been shattered by their opponents, especially Quid and FBI, consistently carrying across all three games.
In the first game of the series, Quid’s Aurora and FBI’s Corki destroyed RED Canids’ base in 30 minutes, with an impressive 24 to 8 kill count. Despite the Brazilians’ trying to fight back in the second game, a 22-minute Atakhan fight swung the momentum in 100T’s favor, who then opened up the gap by stacking the Mountain Soul and Baron. With the back against the wall, it was yet another one-sided game 3, with Quid’s Cassiopeia and FBI’s Ziggs both going 6/0/7 to end another game in half an hour.

Could this be 100T’s Cinderella Story?
With the victory, 100 Thieves will be once again at Worlds, making it an unexpected back-to-back appearance. The LTA North team will join title favorites FlyQuest, who are already in the Regional Championship final, and Vivo Keyd Stars, whom they will face next in the lower bracket. The schedule for the upcoming matches is as follows:
- 100T vs VKS – September 27
- FLY vs winner of 100T vs VKS – September 28
All three teams will kick off their Worlds journey on October 15, the first day of the Swiss stage.
