When it comes to solo queue, the jungle is known to be one of the toughest roles to play in League of Legends. Aside from the immense amount of game knowledge it requires, the role is increasingly more dependent on your teammates, especially in the new season, which puts even more focus on objective controls.

Best Junglers in LoL Patch 25.18

That said, knowing which are the best jungle champions in any given patch should help increase your chances of victory, so here is the full jungle tier list in Patch 25.18.

Z-tier

  • Volibear
  • Viego
  • Bel’Veth

Compared to the previous patch, we have the addition of Viego and Bel’Veth to the top of the jungle tier list. The former is rising up as one of the bruiser junglers following the repeated nerfs to other popular champions like Jarvan IV and Xin Zhao while Bel’Veth is often considered the meta counter whenever melee junglers dominate the meta. Volibear, despite the nerf, is staying as one of the stronger options in the game, given that he can go many different builds (AP, AD bruiser, or full tank). He’s the ideal champion to play in lower Elo since his weaknesses cannot be exploited as much.

S-tier

  • Rek’Sai
  • Master Yi
  • Kindred
  • Hecarim
  • Briar
  • Lee Sin
  • Kha’Zix

There are a couple of things worth mentioning among the S-tier champions since most of the champions will have more or less success depending on the Elo it’s been played. Champions like Master Yi, Hecarim, Briar, and Rek’Sai work better in the lower ends of the ranked ladder. Lee Sin, Kindred, and Kha’Zix, on the other hand, have more influence and carry potential from Diamond Elo and upwards. The meta, however, won’t stay as it is for long, as there are a couple of buffs to AP junglers in the next Patch 25.19, so expect some shifts going forward.

A-tier

  • Rengar
  • Nidalee
  • Kayn
  • Jarvan IV
  • Zed
  • Elise
  • Diana
  • Talon
  • Qiyana

These champions are great in coordinated play thanks to their skirmish-focused kits, but lack the same level of carry potential as the Z and S-tier picks. With the nerfs to Qiyana, she has now dropped in priority compared to the previous weeks. Overall, however, she is still a more than viable option in the jungle, and incredibly fun to play in the right hands.

B-tier

  • Wukong
  • Xin Zhao
  • Warwick
  • Pantheon
  • Karthus
  • Ivern
  • Ekko
  • Nocturne

C-tier

  • Zac
  • Vi
  • Shaco
  • Naafiri
  • Lillia
  • Jax
  • Amumu
  • Evelynn
  • Brand
  • Gragas
  • Sylas
  • Fiddlesticks

D-tier

  • Udyr
  • Trundle
  • Skarner
  • Sejuani
  • Shyvana
  • Rammus
  • Poppy
  • Nunu & Willump
  • Olaf
  • Maokai
  • Graves
  • Gwen

LoL Jungle Tier List FAQ

What are the best junglers in Patch 25.18?

There are two champions that stand out in the patch are Voliber and Viego. The latter is great to solo carry games thanks to his high damage output, while Volibear focuses more on having strong early-game agency and build leads for the entire team.

Which is the strongest jungle champion for low Elo?

Volibear is the most versatile pick to play in the lower ends of the ranked ladder. He has a decent jungle clear and excels in skirmishes and teamfights. Additionally, he can go different build paths depending on what the team comp needs and how the game state is.

Which are the best jungle champions to carry games in Patch 25.18?

The best carry jungle champions for the patch are Kindred, Bel’Veth, and Viego. Bel’Veth is considered a meta counter when there is a large presence of melee champions and Viego has the outplay potential with his ultimate. Kindred, instead, is considered a great option when you want more DPS and better late-game scaling.
