How to Get Fortnite Shock N Awesome Twitch Drops

The new season begins very soon and to celebrate Epic is adding a new batch of Fortnite Shock N Awesome Twitch Drops. A set of free cosmetics to kick things off!

There’s a whole set of cosmetics you can pick up in the Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 4 Battle Pass. Even as a free player, there’s a skin that’s just handed out for levelling enough this time. Although, as usually most of the rewards are paid. If you want some free items to collect as soon as you start, then the new Fortnite Twitch drops will start things off right.

Once the new season goes live, you have four days to unlock the three free items. This time, there’s a back bling, wrap, and pickaxe all available for players. How can you unlock them?

How to Get the New Fortnite Twitch Drops

The latest update will go live on August 7th, from 9 AM on the same day, players can start working towards these drops! All players have to do is watch for an hour and a half in total, and they’ll unlock all three rewards.

The Fortnite Shock N Awesome Twitch drops are available on any category in the Fortnite section. You don’t need to watch a specific channel or need them to be enabled. Your favorite Fortnite streamer will be fine for unlocking them. Pretty much everyone plays on new season day too. These are the times you need to watch to unlock everything:

• Metal Menace Wrap – 30 Minutes
• Tome of Skulls Back Bling – 1 Hour
• Skeletal Cyberscythe Pickaxe – 1 and a Half Hours

That’s total too. You don’t need to watch half an hour, and then an hour. Doing an hour and a half will get you everything!

You’ve got until August 11th at 12 AM (ET) to get it done. It’s only four days. But since the requirement to unlock them is quite low it should be plenty of time. You can see progress in the drops section. It should track each of the Fortnite Shock n Awesome Twitch drops.

Players will normally receive them instantly once they log into Fortnite, but it can take a short while to credit.

All Fortnite Shock N Awesome Twitch Drop Rewards

With the new update players can easily unlock these new updates. But what items are we getting? There’s three in total. None are a full free Fortnite skin, but everything matches. It’ll be a great set to use alongside a skin that has a similar theme.

The wrap is a pretty basic effect, the black and grey color scheme of some of the items this season. The bakbling resembles a skull with the same equipment. Finally, the pickaxe matches too. But it does re-use the scythe model we’ve seen for past free Fortnite pickaxes.

Not the most exciting, but it is great to get a handful of items for free. While the season might just be starting, we are expecting more drops soon enough. We’ll surely see some for the Global Championship too.
