The Fortnite Audio Bug going on right now is a bit more mysterious than most bugs. This isn’t like the Fortnite error code 0 with a specific set of instructions. The first step to solve the problem, is to make sure it’s actually the game. This probably won’t be the issue for the majority of players. However, make sure you’re using the right audio output device. Fortnite could have switched to some random device without you noticing. You can do this in the Audio settings in the tab, it might be behind the Fortnite audio bug.

Restart the Game

The next step to try and solve it is probably the most obvious, just reboot the game. This works on any platform and it can often be enough to get the sound functioning properly again.

It won’t work for everyone, but a hard reset could be all you need.
