DreamLeague Season 26

Every year, we’re treated to a number of DreamLeague tournaments and 2025 is no different, now back with DreamLeague Season 26. We might not be in the pre-Covid LAN times of old but nonetheless, this has remained one of the premier events in the Dota 2 calendar.

It’s always interesting to see how teams play differently without the influence of the crowd behind them and while we may not get another LAN any time soon, we can content ourselves with some top tier Dota.

At this point in time, details are thin on the ground for this tournament. But here’s everything we know so far!

DreamLeague Season 26 Participants

16 teams will compete in the million-dollar DreamLeague Season 26 event. Four of them were directly invited through the EPT Leaderboard, while the remaining 12 had to duke it out through grueling regional qualifiers.

DreamLeague Season 26 Prize Pool

DreamLeague Season 26 will distribute $1,000,000 in prize money. However, $750,000 are awarded as player prize money, while the remaining $250,000 will be distributed as Club Reward.

Tournament format

DreamLeague is a long tournament and often a lot longer than others. That means we get not one, but two group stages.

• Group stage 1: The teams are split into 2 groups of 8 teams and will play through a single round-robin format where all games are a Bo2.
• Group stage 2: The top 4 teams from group stage 1 will then compete in another single round-robin format. Only 4 teams will make it to the playoffs.
• Playoffs: The final 4 will be seeded according to their placement in the 2nd group stage and play a single elimination bracket until the Bo5 grand finals.
