Two-time International winning esports organization OG just announced their retooled Dota 2 roster, right on time for the glut of qualifier tournaments for major LANs this month. The team announced their adjusted lineup via Twitter earlier today, and there’s quite a nice blend of nationalities on this squad as always.
A big month of qualifiers incoming!

They retain Nuengnara “23savage” Teeramahanon, Leon “Nine” Kirilin, and Matthew “Ari” Walker — most of whom joined late last year. Yap “xNova” Jian Wei is also still around playing the hard support position.
But ever the eternal stand-in, the venerable Sébastien “Ceb” Debs returns to active duty for OG, but this time in his comfort zone as he slots into the offlane role. This comes in the wake of Adrián “Wisper” Dobles’ departure from the team, whose 10-month tenure with OG didn’t bear much fruit. He did place fourth at ESL One Birmingham, but the rest of OG’s season wasn’t much to write home about.
Although, that said, their start to this current competitive season hasn’t been great, either. They placed last at BLAST Slam 1, and before that they didn’t even make it to ESL One Bangkok through the WEU qualifiers. But as we’ve all seen before, whenever Ceb returns to the roster (for the umpteenth time), especially in the offlane position, good things tend to happen. This lineup definitely has the talent to post better results than they have been thus far, so there’s potential here for sure.
Whether or not they can make good on that potential will be up to them, so it’ll be interesting to see how far this retooled roster can go. They’ve got their sights set on the qualifiers for PGL Wallachia Season 3, DreamLeague Season 25, and ESL One Raleigh, so they’ve got some time to figure out their chemistry going forward.
