MOUZ is going for another round in Dota 2. While the organization has yet to make an official announcement, I spotted a new roster under the team’s tag for CCT Season 2 Series 4, an online tournament set to begin later this month.
The lineup features some notable names:
This roster move comes after MOUZ’s previous lineup suddenly imploded earlier. Even with big names like Abed “Abed” Yusop on the team, MOUZ never really clicked when it mattered. They ended up missing out on both The International and the Esports World Cup this year, falling short in qualifiers.
This led to a silent disbandment of the roster, leaving MOUZ without a stable squad heading into the new season. Participating in this tournament might hint at the organization’s commitment for another season.
The standout addition to the new lineup is Timado, who recently parted ways with Shopify Rebellion after the organization exited Dota 2 entirely. He’s a staple name in the scene, having previously represented OG, TSM, and Shopify. The Peruvian looks to bring veteran experience and stability into the new lineup.
Alongside Timado is Copy, a mid-laner who has been on a steady rise. The German has quickly grown on me, and I genuinely believe he’s one of the most underrated mid-laners in the scene.

He played a crucial role for Nouns, helping them qualify for The International 2024, and later had a stint with Na’Vi. Copy is always willing to pull out niche heroes like Meepo or Arc Warden, and is the type of player who can swing games with his solid laning and playmaking potential.
The third core player is BOOM, who rejoins Seleri after their time together on the original Gaimin Gladiators roster. Since leaving the Gladiators, BOOM’s career has been quieter, and he even changed roles from offlane to mid lane.
Though they’ve been apart for years, the reunion between BOOM and Seleri could provide a little stability and familiarity in the lineup, especially with the latter once again taking on a leadership role in the support position.
This lineup sparks some potential, and we won’t have to wait long to see how they perform. The team has registered for CCT Season 2 Series 4, an online tournament scheduled to run from August 18 to 28 with a $50,000 prize pool.
Though they’re playing against lower-tier opponents, this tournament will be a good chance to see how the pieces fit together. They’ll be competing against the likes of OG, Yellow Submarine, and Team Yandex.
As of now, there’s been no official word from MOUZ about their return to Dota 2. The roster’s registration for CCT is the only indication we have so far, and it remains unclear whether this lineup is already under contract or simply competing under the tag for the event.
