There are literally no breaks in the Dota 2 competitive scene. Right after we’ve crowned Team Liquid as the PGL Wallachia Season 3 winners, we’ll have another S-Tier tournament in the form of FISSURE Universe 4. This time, we’ll see absentees from Wallachia, such as the BetBoom Team and PARIVISION, back in action.

#1 Team Liquid

I’m not one to jump on the hype after Team Liquid just won PGL Wallachia Season 3, but there is no other team fitting for first place other than Tundra Esports, who have just made a big roster change. Team Liquid looked almost unstoppable in the Playoffs in Romania, and it looks like Saberlight is finally getting comfortable with the team. That said, I think it’s pretty fair to put them up here.

#2 PARIVISION

I’m going for a bold pick in second. PARIVISION looked extremely solid in DreamLeague Season 25 and should have made the Grand Final had they not thrown two unlosable games to Team Spirit. With them skipping Wallachia, I’m sure they’ve had time to fully integrate Satanic into the roster, and I seriously think they’ll make a super deep run here.

#3 Tundra Esports

Tundra Esports lost dyrachyo and have now confirmed he will be replaced with Crystallis. I think this is a massive upgrade, but I can’t rank them first since we have zero data. Crystallis is going to bring in a slightly different playstyle, so we shouldn’t overhype Tundra in their first rodeo with a new player. However, they are still going to be a top contender.

#4 Team Falcons

Team Falcons have been looking a little iffy these past tournaments, but we can never count them out. They’re always good for a deep run, no matter their form, so I’m satisfied with putting them in fourth.

#5 Team Spirit

I was utterly disappointed with Team Spirit’s playoff performance at Wallachia. I’m beginning to think that their victory at DreamLeague Season 25 might have been a bit of a fluke. Still, having Raddan alone should make them worthy of at least a top-five placement.

#6 BetBoom Team

The BetBoom Team kinda fell off since the calendar flipped to 2025. But, similar to PARIVISION, Pure and company skipped PGL Wallachia Season 3, so we’ll see a well-rested BetBoom squad for FISSURE Universe 4. I have high hopes that this tournament could be their comeback.

#7 Aurora Gaming

Aurora looked promising in Wallachia, finishing within the top six. This result sounds even better when you realize they were playing with a stand-in and no coach. I’d imagine coming into FISSURE Universe 4 with a complete lineup will improve their gameplay, so I’m looking forward to seeing how it goes.

#8 Talon Esports

Let’s not forget one of the most underrated teams in the world – Talon Esports. These guys are always good to deal some damage, but not good enough to win it all. Putting them in the middle is the best way to go, so I’ll settle with eighth.

#9 Gaimin Gladiators

The Gladiators are constantly improving, but I’m just not seeing enough yet. However, if you’re still a Gaimin Gladiators fan through thick and thin, the good news is that Quinn has been playing much better recently. He’ll have to continue stepping up if we want to see them back in 2023 form.

#10 Team Tidebound

Aside from a weak finish to their Playoff run at Wallachia, Team Tidebound has surprised me. They have veteran players and looked pretty good in their first LAN tournament back. However, the competition in FISSURE Universe 4 doesn’t get any easier, so I won’t predict a miracle run from the sole Chinese representatives.

#11 Night Pulse

Many of you probably won’t know what the Night Pulse roster holds, but they have some notable names. Led by Davai Lama and dEsire, Night Pulse have been performing quite well in online tournaments. Though we shouldn’t expect too much from them, they’re certainly not that bad.

#12 1win Team

The 1win Team were making it to international LAN events in 2024, but this is the first time we’re seeing them this year. They’ve made significant changes to their roster, swapping out two players. I have no clue what they’re capable of, but I don’t think they’re the worst team at the event.

#13 Wildcard

Wildcard is full of inexperienced players, and it’s their second international tournament together. They were pretty meh in PGL Wallachia Season 3, and I don’t think much will change. They shouldn’t finish dead last, but making it through to the Playoffs is still a big stretch.

#14 BOOM Esports

BOOM Esports have just removed Mac and Fbz from the team to recruit Armel and Jabz as replacements for this event. Though these two are some very notable names, I don’t think the team as a whole is quite there yet. Nothing much to expect here.

#15 M80

It’s been quite a while, but we’ll finally see K1 back on our screens. However, the supporting cast isn’t too convincing. M80 weren’t doing too well in regional competition, so having them do well in this event is simply not happening.

#16 One Move

Honestly, I’ve never seen this iteration of One Move play. However, I tried doing a little bit of research on their players and found out that three of them don’t even have Liquipedia pages. That should tell you what to expect.
