For the first time in a verrry long time, ESL One is coming back to North America, this time to Raleigh, North Carolina, for their first Dota event of the year. Twelve teams are going to take to the stage and compete for a share of the $1,000,000 prize pool and those all important EPT points. There are 27,920 points available and everything to play for.
If you’re not new round here, you’re probably very used to the format for ESL One events but here it is nonetheless. As always, you can expect 2 stages:
Things have been a bit spicy during the ESL One Raleigh closed qualifiers and some places have already been claimed. There are a number of Russian players who may struggle to get visas in time as we initially thought that this would be another European event so while there may be some stand ins, here are all the teams going:
As always, Europe will have send teams than any other region and for good reason. We’re pretty much expecting them to continue their complete dominance of the Dota world. But who knows, maybe ESL One Raleigh will be the event for another region, literally any other, to take a W.
