From October 25th to November 2nd, PGL Belgrade 2025 will begin, marking the final PGL event of the year. 2025 has been a significant period for PGL re-entering the CS2 scene in a big way, rather than just hosting a Major every now and then. It’s fair to say it’s been a success, with exciting matches, great underdog stories, and huge prize pools. With matches set in the Belgrade Arena in Belgrade, Serbia, this event puts $1.25 million on the line for all the top teams in the competitive CS2 scene to fight over.
If you’ve watched any PGL event this year such as PGL Astana or Bucharest, then you already know what to expect from proceedings in Belgrade. It’s a Swiss Group Stage into single-elimination Playoffs – what’s not to like?
PGL hasn’t yet confirmed which 16 teams will be attending PGL Belgrade 2025. Invites will be sent out based on the global Valve Regional Standings on September 25th, and once they’ve been accepted and the teams are confirmed, we’ll keep you in the loop right here.
PGL Belgrade 2025 is unique compared to the rest of PGL events in 2025, in that every single team will be invited via VRS. Previous PGL events have held online qualifiers to allow a few teams to fight their way into contention. Whether this is the PGL standard going forward now remains to be seen, but it has been a controversial decision, to say the least.
Like every PGL event in the 2025 CS2 circuit, PGL Belgrade 2025 boasts a huge $1.25 million prize pool, making it a must-attend event for many of the best CS2 teams right now. The full distribution of this $1.25 million prize pool can be found below:
| Placement | Prize Pool |
| 1st | $400,000 |
| 2nd | $187,500 |
| 3rd | $150,000 |
| 4th | $87,500 |
| 5th – 8th | $62,500 |
| 9th – 11th | $31,250 |
| 12th – 14th | $18,750 |
| 15th – 16th | $12,500 |
As with all PGL events, PGL Belgrade 2025 uses a 50/50 Club and Player Share for the prize pool distribution. This means that both the teams and players get their fair share of the prize money.
When PGL announces all of the PGL Belgrade 2025 teams, we’ll take a look through and see which teams are worth paying attention to. PGL events have typically featured most of the best teams in the scene throughout 2025, so expect a strong lineup in Belgrade.
The official PGL Twitch channel is where you’ll be able to catch every round of PGL Belgrade 2025. With PGL establishing itself as one of the big players in CS2 esports throughout 2025, it’s an account anyone with an interest in the competitive scene needs to be following for Belgrade and beyond.
