NAVI have announced that s1mple is officially leaving the organization after nine years, almost two years after he played his final match for the CS2 roster. The move sees the player make the surprise move to BC.Game, joining the CS2 team on a full-time basis.

s1mple leaves NAVI after nine years, signs for BC.Game to make CS2 return

s1mple FaZe return may have saved his career

The last appearance of s1mple came for FaZe Clan at the BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025, where he appeared for the team on a loan from NAVI. In his return to the server, s1mple generally outperformed expectations, although he understandably struggled to perform when it came to the bright lights of the Playoffs.

Still, it was a stint that offered hope the CS:GOAT still had something left in the tank, albeit perhaps not for the prohibitive fee that NAVI were rumored to be asking for him. After almost two years on the bench, teams wanted to see a little more from s1mple before they were willing to commit to his long-term signing. As for FaZe Clan: they chose to bring back broky rather than pick up s1mple permanently.

s1mple’s next move is BC.Game CS2 roster

In a statement confirming s1mple’s departure, NAVI claimed it “received several transfer offers for s1mple” following the BLAST.tv Austin Major, “all of which were submitted to him for consideration.” It soon became clear that he had chosen to sign for BC.Game, a controversial move that sees him sign for the number 67 team in the Valve regional standings.

BC.Game’s CS2 roster is now:

  • nexa
  • CacaNito
  • pr1metapz
  • s1mple

One thing is clear: s1mple showed enough at the BLAST.tv Austin Major to offer hope that, with the right attitude, he can absolutely play Tier 1 Counter-Strike. Whether he has that motivation is another question altogether.
