FaZe have confirmed the reinstatement of broky to their active CS2 roster, officially bringing to an end s1mple’s stint in the lineup. The move comes after broky spent the last two months on the bench of the FaZe CS2 roster, allowing the Latvian AWPer time to recuperate after a period of rough form.

The FaZe CS2 roster wasn’t the same without broky

FaZe confirmed broky’s return in a post on X, claiming he’s “Recharged, refreshed, and readier than ever.” Throughout 2025, the FaZe Clan stalwart of six years has averaged a 1.05 rating, which initially led to his benching and the shock signing of s1mple until the end of the BLAST Austin Major.

Many believed FaZe would look to add s1mple to its CS2 roster on a permanent basis, although rumor suggests that his current NAVI contract still contains a prohibitive buyout that led the organization to look for internal solutions.

FaZe IGL karrigan initially described broky’s previous removal as the “roughest benching of my career,” and the hope now is that a two-month break from competitive play will be enough for broky to reignite the spark that has seen him establish himself among the best CS2 AWPers over the last few years. If he can find his form again, then one of FaZe’s biggest issues should solve itself.
