ESL has confirmed the full list of teams invited to IEM Chengdu 2025 later this year. Sixteen teams will fly out to China between November 3rd and 11th for another showcase of Counter-Strike in Asia, all of whom are invited via the Valve Regional Standings. Last year’s IEM Chengdu event was won by FaZe Clan, who beat MOUZ 2:0 in the Grand Final.

IEM Chengdu 2025 teams revealed

The direct invites for IEM Chengdu 2025 were sent out and confirmed by ESL, with sixteen teams accepting their spot. Of these teams, ten were sent out via Global VRS, with the remaining six handed out via regional spots across Europe, the Americas, and Asia.

Of course, we’re going to see some of the heavy hitters there, with the likes of Spirit and Vitality in attendance. Last year’s winners are there too in FaZe Clan, although it’s unlikely they’ll be in contention for the top prize any time soon. It’s a great showing for Asian Counter-Strike, too. The MongolZ will be there, and you’d have them down as one of the pre-event favorites. In TYLOO and Lynn Vision, the Chinese fans will be getting some local representation, so hopefully they can make it to the Playoffs to give fans someone to really get behind.

The full IEM Chengdu 2025 team list is as follows:

There’s still plenty of Counter-Strike between now and IEM Chengdu 2025. While teams like The MongolZ and Spirit might look like favorites now, who knows what the state of play will be like in a few months’ time?
