Neymar is one of his generation’s finest footballers, as well as one of the greatest Brazilian football players of all time. But away from the field, he has a second love: Counter-Strike. After all, CS is massive in Brazil, the way paved by legends like coldzera and FalleN over the years. The question isn’t “Does Neymar play CS2?”, but rather, how much does he play? And trust me: it’s a lot.
Proof that Neymar plays CS first emerged a few years back, when he started streaming CS:GO on Twitch. However, it quickly became clear that Neymar had a lot more time in the game than suggested. Although his playtime is now private on his Steam account, at the last time it was publicly available, Neymar had over 11,000 hours in CS2.
In the years since, Neymar has continued to play Counter-Strike 2. His FACEIT account is only Level 3, though it has over 2,200 matches played (none since 2023). It appears that CS2 has been kind to Neymar. A look at his account on CSStats reveals that throughout CS2 Premier Season 3, his best rank was a very respectable 22,782. This is a massive increase from Season 2, where he only peaked at 13,771. So yes, Neymar does play CS2, and he’s pretty good at it, too.
Neymar also publicly supports the FURIA CS2 team. Upon their tournament victories, he’s quick to post about them on his social media channels. He even visited the Esports World Cup 2024 in support of the team.
Throughout his years on the football field, Neymar has played for some of the richest clubs in the world. Barcelona, PSG, Al Hilal. Because of this, it’s only natural that a skin connoisseur like Neymar would possess a pretty ridiculous Counter-Strike inventory. We’ve collected some highlights from the complete set of Neymar CS2 skins for you to peruse below.

Looking through Neymar’s CS2 inventory, it’s clear he’s a fan of the finer things in life. He owns most of the game’s most expensive skins, including some knives and gloves that are among the lowest floats in existence. However, it appears that he’s not a player who seeks out high float items, but rather, simply buys exactly what he wants. It’s surprising to see some Field-Tested and Minimal Wear among Neymar’s CS2 skins, as he certainly wouldn’t struggle to afford Factory New versions of any weapon. Compare this to another celebrity collector, such as Lando Norris, who focuses on getting the number 1 lowest float on his weapons.
