Counter-Strike skins come in various aesthetic styles. Across the hundreds of weapon skins in the game, Valve has ensured there’s something on offer for everyone. One of the categories is CS2 anime skins, which embrace a distinctly Japanese cartoon aesthetic to create some visually stunning weapon finishes.
On the surface, there are only a few overt CS2 anime skins in the game. But the closer you look, the more you realize there are a bunch more than you might think.
All CS2 Anime Skins
First and foremost are the CS2 anime skins for all the pistols. Kawaii sidearms for days.

The Glock-18 Shinobu is a cyberpunk-style CS2 anime skin, the star attraction being the manga character’s eyes in the center. This purple skin has some serious Ghost in the Shell vibes.

The Glock-18 Vogue is pretty similar to the previous CS2 anime skin, but embraces a deep-red and purple color scheme instead. It’s a little more Akira, in this sense, and it’s good that you have a few different Glock options to choose from.

According to its official description, the Glock-18 Umbral Rabbit is “custom painted with a dreamlike scene of a mystical rabbit hopping before a full moon.” What it doesn’t tell you is that it’s against the backdrop of artwork featuring classic Japanese architecture, giving it an Eastern touch.

The woman depicted on the Glock-18 Bullet Queen is staring straight into your soul. The rest of the artwork on this CS2 anime skin has a real raw quality, making it a must-have sidearm. Not as loudly “ANIME” as the others, but enough to qualify.

It can take a moment to actually see the anime-style character on the Glock-18 Neo Noir. It’s a CS2 pistol skin that blends purples, whites, and hints of blue with a minimalist art style, one that becomes more ingenious the more you take note of its intricate details.

If you want to keep your CS2 anime skins as low-key as possible, then the Glock-18 Dragon Tattoo is a perfect pistol option. The grey block color is the backdrop against a classic Japanese-style dragon design, making it a good choice for those putting together a monochrome Counter-Strike loadout.

The USP-S Neo-Noir embraces the exact same unique art style as its T-side counterpart, albeit with a different character. The entire collection fits right in with the rest of the CS2 anime skins with its dreamlike aesthetic.

The Desert Eagle Kumicho Dragon has serious yakuza vibes, looking as though it was pulled straight from the underworld. The white dragon tattoo-style artwork gives this CS2 anime skin some extra edge.

The Desert Eagle Sunset Storm 壱 keeps it simple with a bold red design that really makes it stand out among the lineup of CS2 anime skins. It’s easy on the eye, but has a distinctly Eastern look to it thanks to its ukiyo-e inspiration.

There isn’t too much difference between the Desert Eagle Sunset Storm 弐 and its alternative. In terms of the overall design, they’re very similar – it just depends on what you prefer from the small details.

The Five-SeveN Kami is notorious for one particular pattern. You probably know the one. The one where the pattern looks like human anatomy. That one. And while that made it famous among collectors, players shouldn’t forget that this is well and truly one of the best CS2 anime skins, standing out thanks to its black and white manga design.

What in the “Ghost in the Shell” is this? The R8 Revolver Reboot had Valorant’s art style nailed before Riot Games ever entered the picture, so it’s only right that it features among the best CS2 anime skins. It’s pretty slick.
Moving on from the pistols, it’s time to look at all the CS2 anime skins in the rifles category.

The AUG Akihabara Accept isn’t exactly subtle about the fact that it’s one of the CS2 anime skins. There’s a giant pink-haired anime soldier character on the base, as well as a bunch of Japanese text. It’s quirky, it’s fun, what’s not to love?

Like its Five-SeveN equivalent, the Galil AR Kami is a manga page ripped straight off the page to create one of the best CS2 anime skins. Again, it’s very pattern-heavy, so make sure you check out the exact pattern you want if you’re planning on buying this anime skin. Some are more interesting than others.

The blue wave and the maroon base are an excellent contrast for the Galil AR Crimson Tsunami CS2 anime skin. It has a real classical art sense about it, which makes sense. Take a look at “The Great Wave off Kanagawa” by Katsushika Hokusai. There’s some heavy inspiration here, and it’s why it works so well.

The M4A4 The Emperor just radiates style. Intense blues with gold highlights make this one of the best CS2 anime skins.

The M4A4 龍王 (Dragon King) keeps the familiar reds and purples that pop up on plenty of CS2 anime-style skins. It shows off awesome artwork of a Chinese dragon, and while it’s not the most overtly “anime” skin on this list, stylistically it fits the bill.

The M4A4 Temukau is the quintessential CS2 anime skin. We get an anime-style CT attempting to block a T-rush, all in the adorable classic anime art style. There are even some funny quotes scribbled on the Temukau in Japanese, too.

The M4A4 Neo-Noir isn’t quite as subtle in its intentions as the rest of the Neo-Noir collection, but that only works to its benefit. The femme fatale main character is much more visible here, with the typical manga style illustration again punctuated by the unique blues, purples, and whites. It’s Cyberpunk, it’s Blade Runner, it’s everything.

The M4A1-S Player Two is what happens if you took some bold and vibrant manga and put it straight onto a rifle skin. It’s classic anime, plain and simple, and it’s your only real M4A1-S option, so it’s a good thing that it’s a great one.

It goes under the radar that AK-47 Bloodsport is actually among the CS2 anime skins. It’s such a staple AK skin at this point, that the anime elements can be easily missed. But among the Japanese text, the slick design elements, and the cute cat art, the Bloodsport definitely qualifies as a CS2 anime weapon.

Angelic. Radiant. Classic. All words you could use to describe the AK-47 The Empress. It’s got a timeless look, and some would say that calling it a CS2 anime skin is a stretch. Maybe, but there’s enough of that cartoon style here that I would count it.

The AWP Crakow! features an anime-style girl alongside a robot sidekick, blending fun comic book-style onomatopoeia and bright pinks across the board. It might be a little over the top for some collectors, but this is exactly what CS2 anime skins should be about. Subtlety is for cowards.

It’s the AWP Neo-Noir – you know what to expect at this point. Strong colors, cyberpunk-style artwork, and a skin big enough to actually fit two characters this time around. It’s a classic.

There’s a lot going on under the surface with the AWP Oni Taiji. The purples and reds are a great match, but it’s the artwork itself that makes this one of the best CS2 anime skins. The skin tells the story of a samurai vs. an Oni. Oni Taiji translates to “Demon Subjugation,” which is very interesting. This AWP skin is a literal battle between good and evil.
For when you need a quicker approach, these CS2 anime SMGs have you covered.

The anime artwork on the MAC-10 Sakkaku is pretty hypnotizing. This one is unique among CS2 anime skins, in that the red eyes will actually glow in some lighting. Considering the name means “illusion,” it’s pretty apt. Cool, right?

The MAC-10 Allure depicts an Iso-Onna sea spirit in a classical-style skin that honestly looks just like centuries-old artwork. It captures that ancient vibe perfectly, and the idea of putting the Iso-Onna, a sea spirit that in Japanese folklore would disguise itself as a beautiful woman to lure fishermen and travelers to their deaths, on a skin called the Allure just has so many great layers.

The MAC-10 Cat Fight is just plenty of fun, depicting a cartoon cat taking a swipe. It’s a very goofy CS2 anime skin, and probably the standout MAC-10 option in this category.

The MAC-10 Saibā Oni combines traditional Japanese folklore demons with a futuristic cybernetic aesthetic, all with punchy purples to boot. For my money, this is one of the most unique CS2 anime skins on the market.

There’s something distinctly cyberpunk about the MP7 Smoking Kills and its anime protagonist. It embraces strong neon colors for an instant eye-popping design, and is unique in that it’s the only MP7 CS2 anime skin. I could picture this one on a billboard in the Blade Runner universe.

Contrasts of blue and purple make the black outlined artwork on the MP9 Wild Lily naturally stand out. A great skin, for sure, but the thousands of dollars it costs to buy is slightly less appealing to the average player.

Come on – the MP9 Starlight Protector is adorable, with rainbow cartoon vibes adorned with extra gold accents. If you’re looking for a pop of color in your CS2 anime skins, look no further.

The MP9 Mount Fuji is a fun depiction of Japan’s tallest peak at dawn, right as the Sun is starting to rise. Birds fly high in the sky in this cute design, punctuated by shades of pink throughout. It’s pretty cheap, too, so it’s a great budget choice for CS2 anime skin collectors.

The P90 Emerald Dragon goes back to basics. Simple artwork, childlike, almost. But charming all the same. As a September 2013 release, it stands out as one of the earliest CS2 anime skins.

The anime style of the P90 Neoqueen kind of gets lost in the busy artwork of the skin. But peel away the surface graffiti that draws the eye, and you have a cool CS2 anime character hidden away in the background.
Now it’s onto the big boys – all the CS2 anime skins featured on heavy weapons. There are only a few of these when compared to skins on other weapon categories.

The MAG-7 Insomnia is undeniably odd. From all the CS2 anime skins, it might even be the strangest of all. There’s something slightly off-putting about the character, open-mouthed, waiting for the fish to swim on in. You do you, I guess.

The cherry blossom theme of the Nova Bloomstick elevates it above the level of your average red Candy Apple skin. It’s what you already know, just a little better.

The Sawed-Off Kiss♥Love doesn’t shy away from the fact that it’s a CS2 anime skin – in fact, it embraces it wholeheartedly, with bold pinks and a hint of cyan there to make it really pop. There’s even a nostalgic CS:GO reference in there for good measure.
