Best CS2 AMD Settings: Max FPS & Performance

If you’re playing CS2, you want the best FPS possible at all times. That’s a fact, whether you’re playing on NVIDIA or AMD systems. If you’re on the red side of the aisle, you’re in luck – I’ve put together a list of the best CS2 AMD settings here for a great mix of FPS performance and visuals. You can copy along and make some minor tweaks for your own system if necessary!

Best CS2 Settings – AMD Only

Starting out, you need to change your in-game CS2 settings to get the best FPS performance on an AMD system. Head to the “Advanced Video” tab in the CS2 settings to get started.

For the best CS2 AMD settings with solid FPS and performance, use these options below.

• Wait for Vertical Sync: Disabled
• Multisampling Anti-Aliasing Mode: CMAA2
• Global Shadow Quality: High
• Dynamic Shadows: All
• Model / Texture Detail: Low
• Texture Filtering Mode: Bilinear
• Shader Detail: Low
• Particle Detail: Low
• Ambient Occlusion: Disabled
• High Dynamic Range: Quality
• FidelityFX Super Resolution: Disabled (Highest Quality)

It’s worth mentioning that although these will be the best CS2 settings for some players, you might have even lower system specs that require you to go even lower on some settings. If that’s the case, then lower the Global Shadow Quality. While this is quite important for CS2 visibility, it can affect FPS and performance a lot, so it’s one you should consider sacrificing if you want a higher frame rate.

If you’re a CS2 AMD user, you can go even further into your system for better FPS in-game. Open your AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition, before opening up the “Gaming” tab. For my money, these are the best CS2 AMD settings you’ll find online. As always, you can make any small adjustments you want, but be aware that it won’t always result in the best CS2 performance. If your system just isn’t powerful enough to run CS2, then changing your AMD settings can only make so much of a difference, so that’s something to bear in mind.

Update your AMD GPU drivers!
