Aurora, PARIVISION, and NAVI are through to the PGL Cluj-Napoca 2026 Playoffs at the final hurdle. When faced with the last-chance saloon, all three teams stood up to be counted to take down their opponents, locking in the last spots in Cluj-Napoca’s BT Arena on Friday. Here’s how they did it.

For both Aurora and Astralis, letting their PGL Cluj-Napoca 2026 fates come down to the final day of the Group Stage is a pretty poor showing. Here, it was Aurora who got it done in two, and Astralis will be devastated that they weren’t able to take this series to a decider at a minimum.
Aurora were strong out of the gate, taking a 9:3 opening half on Astralis’ map pick of Overpass. The newly international lineup, usually so strong on Overpass, wilted in the face of a dominant woxic display, and it eventually petered out 13:7 in favor of Aurora.
Astralis’ response was swift. Intent on sending a message on Aurora’s Dust2 pick, Astralis roared to a 10:2 half. A tee-up to take it to a third. Aurora had other ideas, winning an 11:1 half of their own to complete an enormous comeback and send Astralis packing. Heartbreak for the international Astralis, who really should have been able to get to Inferno in this series.

In the face of adversity, PARIVISION continue to pass the tests. Their final Group Stage match at PGL Cluj-Napoca 2026 was against a FUT lineup with firepower to burn, but with a slight choking issue that you can easily put down to inexperience. While they needed all three maps to finish the job, the young PARIVISION roster eventually emerged victorious over FUT in what was a pretty frustrating 2:1 series.
The BLAST Bounty Season 1 winners enjoyed business as usual on their map pick of Dust2, needing not just one, but two overtimes to see it out 19:17. PARIVISION are like vampires, sucking the energy out of teams by dragging them the distance at every opportunity. To FUT’s credit, they didn’t immediately crumble for a 2:0 loss. Instead, they put on a clinical Mirage, winning out 13:10 with PARIVISION putting together a small cosmetic comeback towards the end. 1:1, and we were headed to Ancient.
You can put the decider of this series down to just fine margins. It was an extremely close Ancient throughout, but PARIVISION just got the momentum rolling to put the series out of reach at FUT in the second half. A game dictated more by the flow of the economy than anything else, eventually finishing 13:10 to PARIVISION.
For PARIVISION, it’s another impressive Playoffs berth in 2026. But for FUT, this one will sting. They were 2:0 in the Swiss Group Stage, and have fumbled three consecutive opportunities to reach their biggest Playoffs to date. It’ll hurt extra for lauNX, who had a great series but will now miss out on the opportunity to play in front of a home crowd at PGL Cluj-Napoca 2026.

The final series of the day was another 2:0, this time in favor of NAVI over G2. It was a series defined only by total, inexplicable collapses by G2 in the second half of the two maps, the team failing to pick up a single round in the second halves from 18 total played.
G2 appeared to find a lot of momentum on Dust2, a strong 7:5 T-side putting them in a good position to take an early series lead. But 10 consecutive rounds from NAVI meant that a 7-round haul was all G2 could muster, as they were left shellshocked on their own map pick.
It was a near-identical story on map two of Ancient. G2 stomped to a 9:1 lead, seemingly unaffected by their collapse on map one. Yet, after they hit nine rounds won, not a single one followed. This time, it was 12 consecutive from NAVI en route to victory, another total capitulation happening to G2. What went wrong here? It’s hard to say without being in the server with the players, but it was a truly miserable result.
NAVI have now qualified for their first Playoffs of 2025, with iM being the only Romanian player getting the opportunity to play in front of a home crowd. Can he take the chance and lift the trophy on home soil? Given the teams in attendance, it will be a tough ask.
