Counter-Strike 1.6 Cheats: All CS 1.6 Codes For Aimhack, Wallhack, and More

Using Counter-Strike 1.6 cheats can be a lot of fun, as long as it doesn’t come at the expense of other players. Downloading CS 1.6 cheats can be risky business, though, and you’re always at risk of a VAC ban for using them. So what can you do? I’m going to show you how to use CS 1.6 cheats, all without inconveniencing other players.

How to use Counter-Strike 1.6 cheats

To use most CS 1.6 cheats, you’ll need to play in a private match. Some online servers allow cheats in Counter-Strike 1.6, but not all of them, so beware!

1. Open the command console with the tilde (~) key.
2. Enter “sv_cheats 1” and press “Enter” to enable Counter-Strike 1.6 cheats in your server.
3. Enter the CS 1.6 cheat code you want to use in the console.

Again, you won’t be able to use any sv_cheats commands in online matches, as they could give you an unfair advantage. The only way to use CS 1.6 cheats online is by downloading third-party files, and this will lead Valve to VAC ban you from its servers. This is not the same as installing CS 1.6 mods such as weapon skins and maps – I’m talking about your Counter-Strike 1.6 aimbot and wallhack-type cheats.

CS 1.6 Max Cash

Using “impulse 101” will give you max cash in an instant, making it one of the most useful Counter-Strike 1.6 cheats. You can start every round with $16,000, removing eco rounds altogether.

CS 1.6 Aimbot

• sv_clienttrace 999999

This isn’t technically a CS 1.6 aimbot cheat, but it will make all your shots hit. So it essentially works in the same way. If you want to use aimbot in Counter-Strike 1.6 without downloading a cheat, using “sv_clienttrace 999999” in the console is your best bet.

CS 1.6 God Mode

The “god” command gives you God Mode in CS 1.6. Yep – invincibility. Obviously, you can’t use this in your online matches – that would be real cheating. But it makes for a fun experiment with friends.

CS 1.6 Noclip

Want to fly around through all the walls in the game? The CS 1.6 “noclip” cheat command is what you need. Using noclip cheats for Counter-Strike 1.6 can be particularly good for getting an overview of all the best CS 1.6 maps.

Moon Gravity

• sv_gravity 180

Moon gravity is by far one of the most fun Counter-Strike 1.6 cheats. The default value for this is 800, but I enter “sv_gravity 180” for something that resembles moon gravity in CS 1.6. You can tinker with this value further if you want to try other gravity cheats for Counter-Strike 1.6.

Fast Movement Speed

• cl_forwardspeed 999
• cl_backspeed 999
• cl_sidespeed 999

For fast movement speed in every direction, these are the CS 1.6 cheats to enter. The trio of commands, “cl_forwardspeed 999“, “cl_backspeed 999“, and “cl_sidespeed 999“, gives you tons of speed. Not enough that it looks ridiculous, but the values cap out at that amount, so it’s the fastest you can go using these cheats for CS 1.6

Enable Flashlight

• mp_flashlight 1

You can enter “mp_flashlight 1” to enable the flashlight, which you can turn on and off with the F key by default. This is a holdover from the fact that CS 1.6 is based on Half-Life, which has a flashlight by default, so many of the cheats for Counter-Strike 1.6 work in both games.

Blue CS 1.6 Viewmodel

• sv_skycolor_g 0
• sv_skycolor_r 0

Why would you want to turn your CS 1.6 viewmodel blue with cheats? I’m not sure, but with the above three commands, you can do just that. It’s pretty funny, if nothing else.

Red CS 1.6 Viewmodel

• sv_skycolor_b 0
• sv_skycolor_g 0
• sv_skycolor_r 360

Same thing – use these three commands to get a red CS 1.6 viewmodel. There are actually some similar funny commands for CS2, so it’s cool to see you can still do it in the oldest game in the series.

Green CS 1.6 Viewmodel

• sv_skycolor_b 0
• sv_skycolor_g 360
• sv_skycolor_r 0

Sure, why not? We’ve done red and blue, so of course, we had to also do a green CS 1.6 viewmodel. I’m not really sure what you could do with these particular Counter-Strike 1.6 cheats, but do with that information what you will.

Disable CS 1.6 Viewmodel

• r_drawviewmodel 0

This CS 1.6 cheat allows you to turn off the viewmodel altogether. It’s simple – “r_drawviewmodel 0” is all you need to enter, and you’ll no longer be able to see your weapon. Particularly great for taking screenshots.

Disable Footsteps

• mp_footsteps 0

If you want to make your online CS 1.6 matches a little more interesting, you can always use “mp_footsteps 0” to completely remove footsteps from the game. This completely changes the fundamental gameplay of Counter-Strike 1.6, so it is a very unique cheat to activate.

Auto-Reload

• +reload

The best Counter-Strike 1.6 cheats make the game just a little bit easier, and the auto-reload is one of them. Enter “+reload” into the console, and whenever you’re done firing, you’ll automatically reload. A note, though: this goes for pistols, too, so you’ll reload every time you shoot your sidearm.

Fast Jumping

• sv_airaccelerate -9999

Want to jump fast in CS 1.6? Like, really fast? Use “sv_airaccelerate -9999” for some super speed jumps. I won’t lie, though – this might be one of the more unhelpful cheats for Counter-Strike 1.6, because it actually moves you so fast that it deals a lot of damage if you hit a wall. And you will hit plenty of walls. Use with caution.

Change Bomb Timer

• mp_c4timer [value (seconds)]

You can use Counter-Strike 1.6 cheats to change the bomb timer to a value of your choosing. By default, it takes 45 seconds for the bomb to explode in CS 1.6. You can change this to a minimum of 15 seconds and a maximum of 90 seconds. Practically, this might not sound like it has much use, but it’s a CS 1.6 cheat that can be fun when playing matches with friends.

Does CS 1.6 have wallhack?

Unfortunately, there are no legal cheats for CS 1.6 wallhack. While most Counter-Strike 1.6 cheats have their offline console command equivalent, wallhack doesn’t. Any wallhack for CS 1.6 must be downloaded off the internet, and using them will lead to being VAC-banned, so it’s not worth it.
