The culmination of the entire VCT season, VALORANT Champions 2025 is the premier tournament and crowns the game’s best team at the end of each year. In 2025, Champs will see 16 teams converge in Paris, France, in the circuit’s biggest competition.

VALORANT Champions Teams Qualification Process

The 16 teams that will eventually qualify for Champs will be evenly split between the four VCT regions:

  • Americas
  • EMEA
  • Pacific
  • China

The two Stage 2 playoff finalists from each region will qualify automatically, with the regions’ third and fourth Champs spots then awarded to the highest-placing Championship Points teams that did not reach the playoffs final.

VALORANT Champions Teams Qualified So Far

While Stage 2 is still ongoing, some teams have already guaranteed their qualification through Championship Points rankings. Those who have been successful throughout the season and have racked up large numbers of points can be so far ahead in the standings that, even considering potential Stage 2 playoffs disasters, their lead mathematically cannot be reduced enough to knock them out of contention.

VCT Americas

  • Qualifier #1: G2 Esports
    • The winners of both Kickoff and Stage 1, G2 have found themselves with a massive points lead. Such was their lead that Champs qualification was confirmed before Stage 2 even began.

  • Qualifier #2: Sentinels
  • Qualifier #3: MIBR
    • Despite their lacklustre form since a disastrous Masters Toronto, MIBR have crept into Champions qualification thanks to their earlier points tally as well as favourable head-to-head tiebreakers over other sides around them.
  • Qualifier #4: NRG
    • A dramatic 2-1 victory over Cloud9 in the VCT Americas Stage 2 playoffs lower bracket saw NRG clinch the region’s final place in Paris, a huge turnaround from the org’s chaotic roster reshuffles over the last 12 months.

VCT EMEA

  • Qualifier #1: Fnatic
    • After a slow start in Kickoff, Fnatic has gone from strength to strength, reaching two international finals in a row. Their success in recent months saw them claim many Championship Points and book their place in Paris.

  • Qualifier #4: GIANTX
    • The Spanish organisation became the final team worldwide to qualify for Champions following a stunning 3-0 swatting of BBL in EMEA’s Stage 2 lower bracket final. They return to Champs for the first time since 2023, where they competed as Giants.

VCT Pacific

  • Qualifier #1: Paper Rex
    • After their Masters Toronto win, Paper Rex has continued their great form into Stage 2 and are the first team worldwide to reach their respective region’s playoff final. Reaching the final secured their spot at Champs, regardless of points standings.

  • Qualifier #3: Rex Regum Qeon
    • Another one and off side, RRQ booked their spot through Championship points having won Stage 1 and reached deep into Stage 2 playoffs.
  • Qualifier #4: DRX
    • Though they’d exited playoffs early, DRX made it to Champs qualification thanks to RRQ’s thrilling five-map win over TALON, allowing the Korean organisation a slot based on Championship Points.
