The biggest VALORANT tournament of the year, VALORANT Champions 2024, kicks off on August 1. The top four teams from the four competitive regions will meet in Seoul and Inchon, South Korea for a chance at glory. Here is everything you need to know to keep up with VALORANT’s most important event.
VALORANT Champions 2024 Schedule & Format
VALORANT Champions 2024 begins on August 1 with the Group Stage. Running through August 11, the Group Stage separates the 16 teams into four groups of four. Each group plays a double elimination bracket where the top two teams advance to the playoffs. Two wins gets a team through, while two losses sends them home. All matches are best of three.
The Playoffs Stage takes place from August 14 to August 25. The top eight teams are seeded into a double elimination bracket based on their Group Stage results. The lower bracket finals and grand finals are both best of five, while every other match is best of three. The last team standing will be crowned the winner of Champions 2024.
Each day of play begins at 4:00 AM ET / 1:00 AM PT, with two exceptions. The upper bracket and lower bracket finals (August 23 and 24) begin at 3:00 AM ET / 12:00 AM PT.
