With spots in the upper-bracket final on the line, Team Liquid Brazil, G2 Gozen, Shopify Rebellion Gold, and Karmine Corp GC all entered the day with momentum and the expectation of going deep. What followed were two intense best-of-threes that pushed every team to their limit, and by the end of the day, the upper final was confirmed as an all-Americas showdown between TL Brazil and Shopify.

Team Liquid Brazil vs G2 Gozen: A Three-Map Clash Ends in Narrow Victory for TL

The first series of the day featured two teams arriving from dominant 2-0 wins in their opening matches, though their seasonal trajectories could not have been more different. G2 Gozen’s year had been turbulent, marked by roster shuffles and the challenge of rebuilding synergy in the face of international pressure. Team Liquid Brazil, by contrast, had been the picture of consistency at home, dropping only a single match all year to rivals MIBR while steadily improving their cohesion and structure.

The series opened on Haven, a map Liquid were surprised G2 allowed through the veto and one that immediately became a showcase of TL’s preparation. G2 won the opening pistol on defense and kept the map close through the first several rounds, but once Liquid settled into the half, the match shifted dramatically. With bizerra and daiki setting the tempo from the initiator roles, TL stitched together seven consecutive rounds to close the half 9–3.

Their defensive setups were airtight, their trading was efficient, and on the attacking side they needed only a few more moments of composure to finish the map 13-3. Bizerra was the driving force of the opener with 25 kills, five first picks, and a massive kill differential, while daiki was nearly as impactful with 19 frags and strong mid-round calling.

Corrode, however, belonged entirely to G2. The European side looked revitalized on their own pick, leaning into an explosive double-duelist look with Mimi on Yoru and Akita on Waylay. G2 once again began on defense and strung together a perfect six-round streak that showcased far cleaner early-round coordination than they had displayed on Haven. TL managed only a single round in the first half, which ended 11-1.

Although they secured the pistol in the second, G2 immediately disrupted their momentum with a sharp anti-eco conversion. The map finished 13-2 in G2’s favor, with Akita standing out for the sheer impact of her entries and first kills, and with every member of G2 finishing positive in K/D while none of TL’s players reached break-even.

The decider on Split became a far more balanced contest than either of the first two maps. TL began on defense and produced a confident 3-1 start, only for G2 to respond with a series of well-orchestrated attacking rounds that pushed the half to a 7-5 G2 lead. Liquid equalized immediately after the sideswap with a pistol win, and from that point forward the match developed into a tense tug-of-war. Neither team could break free, and each exchange of rounds pushed the score closer to the inevitable conclusion: overtime.

In the end, it was two defining late-round moments that separated the teams. Jelly delivered a crucial Operator triple-kill to secure TL the first OT round, and daiki then converted a remarkable 1v3 clutch in the following round to end the map 14-12 and hand Liquid the series. Statistically, both daiki and bizerra again led the server, reflecting the strong form that carried TL through the early stages of the event.

With the victory, TL Brazil advanced to the upper-bracket final, while G2 Gozen dropped to the lower bracket where they will next face MIBR in an elimination match.

Shopify Rebellion Gold vs Karmine Corp GC: SRG and KC Trade Heavy Blows

The second semifinal brought together Shopify Rebellion Gold, North America’s perennial powerhouse, and Karmine Corp GC, a team that had surged throughout the year as one of EMEA’s most cohesive units, winning Stage 1 and 2.

Map one on Abyss belonged entirely to Shopify. KC selected the map and opted for a double-initiator composition rather than a sentinel, while SRG stayed true to their comfort setups with meL controlling space on Astra. Beginning on attack, SRG immediately applied coordinated pressure across the map, leaping out to a dominant 5-1 lead built on efficient executes and unbreakable post-plants. KC found one breakthrough round midway through the half, but it did little to disrupt SRG’s momentum. Shopify closed the half 8-4 and then dropped only a single round in the second half, taking the map 13-5 in a performance highlighted by meL’s consistent impact.

Haven, however, marked a shift in the series. KC entered the map looking far more prepared and opened with a clean 3–0 start. SRG answered with five straight rounds, but a well-timed KC timeout stopped their momentum and reset the tempo. Karmine Corp finished the half ahead 7–5 and gained even more breathing room after the swap, with alkyia producing a standout four-kill pistol round that electrified the team. KC extended their lead to 11–5 and showed a level of composure lacking in the earlier map, eventually closing Haven 13–7 to tie the series. Alkyia was incredible throughout the map, finishing with 25 kills, eight first picks, and some of the most explosive Neon rounds of the day.

Sunset served as the decider, and SRG’s double-sentinel composition featuring Noia on Chamber and alexis on Sage proved difficult for KC to deal with. Karmine Corp again began with a 3–0 start, but SRG settled quickly and pulled the score back to even. At 5-5, Noia seized control of the half, producing a four-kill round followed immediately by a triple-kill to carry SRG into a 7-5 halftime lead. Shopify won the pistol after the swap, and KC’s failed force-buy attempt allowed the North American team to push the score to 10-5.

Although KC managed one final round, SRG remained disciplined and closed out the map 13-6 and the series 2-1. Noia was the clear standout on Sunset with a 354 ACS performance, six first kills, and decisive late-half heroics. She also earned series MVP honors with 52 kills and nine opening picks across the three maps.

With the win, Shopify Rebellion Gold advanced to the upper final, where they will meet Team Liquid Brazil in an all-Americas clash.
