Day 2 of the VALORANT Game Changers Championship 2025 continued the high-stakes momentum established on opening day, featuring two pivotal Upper Bracket matches: Karmine Corp GC vs Xipto Esports GC on one side, and Team Liquid Brazil vs KRÜ Blaze on the other.
While day one showcased close mid-series swings and late-map rallies, day two told a different story entirely. Both Karmine Corp and Team Liquid delivered commanding 2–0 sweeps, stamping their authority early and setting up blockbuster matchups for tomorrow.

Xipto, Pacific’s first seed, entered the event as one of the tournament favorites. Their path through GC Pacific was defined by explosive pacing, hyper-coordinated utility, and standout performances from players like grahams, kon, and yxqme.
Karmine Corp, meanwhile, arrived as EMEA’s second seed after their best-performing season since entering Game Changers. They qualified through circuit points after finishing first in Stage 1 and Stage 2, backed by their elite defensive structure and strong individual plays.
Abyss was chosen by Karmine Corp, and started Xipto winning both pistol and anti-eco to take an early 2–0 lead. That was the last moment the map felt competitive. Starting on defense, Karmine Corp immediately locked down control, thanks almost entirely to Alkyia’s extraordinary Jett performance. She produced 16 kills in the first half, slicing through Xipto’s mid control and stalling with ruthless consistency.
KC’s defensive reads were crisp, their rotations measured and their head-to-head duel wins superior. They stormed ahead to an 8–4 halftime lead, and after the sideswap, the match ended almost instantly. Xipto debuted their new Veto-based Abyss composition on defense, one they had hoped would give them an edge, but the comp never came online. Xipto failed to win a single round on their defensive half, and KC closed the map 13–5 without resistance.
Alkyia finished with an extraordinary 403 ACS, 26 kills, and a +17 differential. None of Xipto’s players finished positive, underscoring how suffocating KC’s map control became.

Corrode had been one of Xipto’s comfort maps — they were 2–0 on it entering the tournament, making this their best chance to equalize the series and explaining why they chose it. They began well, winning the pistol and converting the anti-eco for a 3–0 lead. But KC immediately shut down the momentum with a thrifty, powered by crisp Sheriff shots and a perfectly timed collapse. That thrifty ignited a five-round swing, giving KC a 5–3 lead.
The remainder of the half went back and forth, landing at 6–6, but the competitive tension evaporated once sides swapped. KC unleashed a dominant defensive half: four straight rounds to reach 10–6, overwhelming Xipto’s site hits with near-flawless play from Glance, Jiex and Alkyia. Xipto found just one more round before KC closed out the map with a final three-round streak to win 13–7 and secure a clean 2–0 sweep.
Across the series, Alkyia earned the MVP with 319 ACS, 44 kills, and a +24 differential, while both Glance and Jiex approached the 30-kill mark. Xipto’s highest fragger had only 25, highlighting the gap between the teams’ performances on the day. Karmine Corp move on in the upper bracket to face the winner of G2 Gozen vs Nova, while Xipto fall to the lower bracket and will play Ninetails in an elimination game
Team Liquid Brazil entered the event after one of their strongest domestic years, winning Brazil Stage 1 and the country’s grand final to secure their Seoul berth.
KRÜ Blaze arrived once again as the LATAM representative, continuing a remarkable streak in which Conir has represented KRÜ at every Game Changers Championship to date. Their form was strong regionally, especially on Corrode, where they had recorded two emphatic wins this season.

Team Liquid struck first on attack, winning the opening pistol and converting the anti-eco before building a sharp 6–2 lead. KRÜ found two rounds off of disciplined retakes, but that was the limit of their momentum.
TL continued dictating the pace and closed the half ahead 8–4, and even when KRÜ won the pistol after the sideswap, TL immediately stole the anti-eco and surged into a five-round streak that secured a dominant 13–5 victory. TL boasted two players above 300 ACS — daiki and jelly — and four of their five players finished positive. KRÜ, in contrast, did not have a single player end the map with a positive differential.
Bind, TL’s pick, told a similar story. The Brazilians had already defeated MIBR on this map in their domestic finals, and the team entered with confidence. TL won yet another pistol and anti-eco, and although KRÜ managed to break the streak with a successful gun round, TL responded with a six-round string that left the score at 8–1. KRÜ closed two rounds in the late half, but TL retained full control with a 9–3 halftime advantage.
The second half began exactly as the first did: TL won pistol, converted the bonus, and reached match point without allowing KRÜ any space to adjust. KRÜ bundled together a few consolation rounds, but the inevitable conclusion came as TL finished the map 13–6 to complete their own 2–0 sweep.
Jelly and bizerra led the scoreboard with 301 and 289 ACS, respectively, while no KRÜ player exceeded 220 ACS or finished positive across the series. With this win, Team Liquid Brazil move on ahead in the bracket, while KRÜ and GIANTX GC face each other in an elimination series.

With today’s results, Karmine Corp GC and Team Liquid Brazil continue through the upper bracket with significant momentum after two statement victories.
Day three now sets the stage for two of the most anticipated matches of the entire tournament: G2 Gozen vs Nova Esports GC, featuring the world’s most decorated Game Changers lineup against an undefeated Chinese powerhouse, and Shopify Rebellion Gold vs MIBR GC, a collision between the two teams that contested the last two World Championship finals.
