Hotspawn spoke with Team Liquid Brazil’s Vitoria “bizerra” Vieira shortly after TL defeated Shopify Rebellion Gold in the upper final at the 2025 Game Changers Championship in Seoul, securing the first spot in the grand finals. The Brazilian team, now featuring Jelly after the mid-season trade, has looked more dominant than ever, and bizerra herself delivered one of her most explosive performances of the year.

Hotspawn: Firstly, bizerra, congratulations. I know it’s a very common question, but you look really happy and I want to hear more about it.

How you’re feeling after that win?

Bizerra: I would say that I’m feeling literally unbreakable, unbeatable. It’s a feeling that I never had felt before in any other Champs that we went through. And regarding the team, I felt that we so close to each other, we are so united as a team. We are just trusting each other at the point that we are really confident we can achieve this, and we will be able to bring our victory as a team.

Hotspawn: Who do you think is going to be the second team that you’ll face as your grand finalist?

Bizerra: I believe through the performance that they’re showcasing so far, Shopify will be one of the teams, but I also have to say that MIBR is very strong as well. It will depend on how they still keep growing [during] the championship, and depending on that it could be a possibility. But I would say that Shopify will be my first pick.

Hotspawn: You’re one of the most flexible players. Today you were popping off on Sova. You also play Raze on a couple of maps.

How do you develop that flexibility?

Bizerra: I think that what makes me so comfortable to be in such a position as a flex player is that my team always supports me. They trust me so much on that. And that itself makes me confident enough to perform the best I can. I would say that I really like to be in a position where I can change between maps and do different things, make different decisions.

Regarding each character, I would have different ideas, different concepts. So that puts me in a situation where I can be aggressive with some characters and defensive with some others. And because of that and my performance, my team just trusts me to do that position so well. And that brings me confidence as well.

Hotspawn: Talking about your team, there was a roster change this year.

How has it been playing with Jelly, and how have you managed to integrate her to the team in this short time frame that you had?

Bizerra: I would say that Jelly was a key piece that we needed within the team, so getting through the adaptation phase was actually very easy. It’s very easy to play by her side and support her. And I believe as a team we evolved a lot after the addition of Jelly. She’s s a very communicative player and I’m in such a comfortable position that I know what she’s gonna be doing every time. So in the end, it’s very easy for us to adapt and just become the united team that we have and just give support to each other.

Hotspawn: Also, I wanted to ask you, is there anything that you did or ate before that map number three, because you were playing so well on Sunset?

What was going through your mind?”

Bizerra: I believe that I was kind of nervous at the beginning with Pearl, and when it was over, I stopped to think and tell myself that I need to change my mind and literally wake up. On the first game, I believe that we were approaching pretty much [being] awake, but after some losses here and there, we got into a situation that we could reverse.

But in the second map we were pretty comfortable, tactical-wise as well. Everything was kind of filling up here and there and improving. And that brought us a little bit more confidence that we could make it, not only as a person, but also as a team. And during the end of the map as well, I think it was the result that we could bring. And as I repeat every time, I’m really thankful to all my teammates that they support me so well so I can perform the way I perform.

Hotspawn: When I interviewed daiki, she talked about how she’s constantly trying to keep the hype up for the team.

So is she the main cheerleader for your team, or is there somebody else who jumps up and does it?”

Bizerra: I think yes, I could say that she has this role. I believe I also step up when the team has kind of a low energy and try to ramp it up and try to change mindsets. I would also say that we each have a positive point when the team is losing, and we add to each other so well. Personality-wise, we try to get everybody hyped up. But I also have to say that not only daiki has the support, but also me and joojina. We would like put this role within the team and rotate in order to get everybody hyped up and keep the flow.

Hotspawn: Talking about hype, I think that not just this tournament, your fans have been just absolutely insane. They seem to have come and filled up the arena. So I just wanted to ask you more about the GC scene and just the Valorant scene in Brazil.

Could you talk a little bit about it?

Bizerra: I would say that we don’t have to say much because the Brazilian crowd itself is already known for being passionate and always giving as much support as they can. And especially this time, I have my brother and my mother here with us, together with the Liquid staff, also cheering for us in such a close space.

And I say that actually makes a difference for us because we love having people when we work together here in such a tight space, it makes us want to perform even better. And it makes it different for us to be in such a nice, blessed position where we can be performing in front of them, in support of them and having all the energy that they can pass to us.

Hotspawn: What is your biggest goal in esports, gaming, or in life in general?

Bizerra: I think [to] make my family proud and win the Championship, because I think it’s the most important thing for me now. And this year it’s the goal that I want most.
