The Finals has a lot going on, and when you first load it up, it can be a little overwhelming. Thankfully, the game has a decent The Finals tutorial that leads you down the right path. However, one of the Rookie quests will ask you to complete The Finals Tutorial quest and the Arena Challenges, which isn’t totally clear at first viewing, as the game quickly moves on.
Briefly, while doing your first few Quick Cash matches, the game will lead you to the tutorial section, but if you dismiss the menu too quickly, you’ll miss it. Thankfully, you can do it at any time for some quick XP.
Below, we’ll walk through how you can complete the Rookie quests and the Arena Challenges quests together to make things easier. Despite you being stuck, and don’t worry, I was too, the quest is fairly easy to complete.

So, as you can see above, the objective is easy: just do the tutorial. The problem is, the game doesn’t make it clear what that actually is. In fact, to find out, you need to scroll down to a later quest called “Arena Challenges” to actually find out what we need to do.
On the menu where we see our quests, scroll down under Rookie to the “Arena Challenges” tab shown below to see the full list of actual challenges.

Here is where we actually find the tutorial challenges.
Now we know what to do, it’s just a case of actually completing the challenges shown above. To do this, head to the main menu again, and in the bottom right corner of the screen and change game mode.
From here, navigate to the bottom of the left-hand menu in Season 9 and select “Practice Range” This will take you to an area where you can freely do what you like, such as fight bots, wall run, shoot stuff, etc. It’s also where the game has a number of set trials you can do.

In here, head to the pair of computer terminals shown above, and select the Arena Challenges that match the quest:
Completing these three will award you the tutorial completion. You can do them on any difficulty you like, as long as you “win”, that’s all that matters. All of these are fairly simple, and honestly do a good job of actually teaching you how to play objectives, attack, and defend.
Once this is done, you’ll complete the Rookie Challenge, providing you’ve done the games as a light, medium, and heavy as well. This will also complete the Arena Challenges quest as well.
