G2 Esports Release special Solo Leveling Collection

German esports organization G2 Esports has officially unveiled its latest merchandise collection in collaboration with one of the most trending animation series, Solo Leveling.

G2 Esports x Solo Leveling Collection has Arisen

Solo Leveling is a fantasy web novel written by Chugong back in 2016. The novel became so popular that it was first illustrated as a webtoon and then adapted into an anime in January 2024, with the second season being released earlier this year.

The story’s main character is Sung Jin-Woo, a E-grade hunter who was known as one of the weakest hunters in the world. The story is set in a world where hunters are considered humanity’s main line of defense and have to fight monsters in dungeons.

In one of the dungeon raids, Jinwoo and his party ended up being trapped in a deadly double dungeon. To save the rest, Jinwoo sacrificed himself, but instead of dying, he awakens in a hospital and gained the ability of getting infinitely stronger by killing monsters and fulfilling quests.

The merchandise collection features two version of t-shirts, a zipped hoodie, a long sleeve and a pair of sweatpants. The t-shirts are priced at 50 euros with the zipped hoddie and pants having a price tag of 80 euros. The longsleeve is set at 60 euros.

Esports Organisations Turned Lifestyle Brands

It’s not the first time G2 launches apparel collection. On top of its esports-focused kits, the team has previously collaborated with fashion brand Ralph Lauren and Smiley to release lifestyle collections as G2 wants to establish itself as a global lifestyle brand.

This has been a common strategy used by esports teams, leveraging the combination of gaming and esports with other mainstream forms of entertainment like anime.

Additionally, G2 has expanded into traditional sports by creating its own football team that competes in the Kings League and has even launched its own webtoon series, Red Aura.

G2 Esports doesn’t need much of an introduction. Mainly known for its its success in League of Legends, G2 has won 17 LEC titles and one MSI title. It recently competed at Worlds 2025 and and was the only Western team to finish in the top 8. Aside from LoL, G2 also competes across Counter-Strike 2, Fortnite, iRacing, Hearthstone, Rainbow Six Siege, Rocket League, Valorant, and Call of Duty.
