Just like every year, the League of Legends 2025 World Championship will kick off the final with its Worlds opening ceremony. Here’s what you need to know before T1 and KT face off for the Summoner’s Cup.

Worlds 2025 Opening Ceremony to feature GEM, Anyma, Chrissy Costanza, and Teya

The opening ceremony will take place at the Dong’an Lake Sports Park Indoor Gymnasium in Chengdu, as League of Legends is celebrating its 15 years of esports history with one of the most stacked lineups.

On top of bringing back Chrissy Costanza, one of the most iconic artists that defined League of Legends esports music, the stage will also feature American Italian DJ Matteo “Anyma ” Milleri. Known for his techno compositions, the artist held music performances across the globe, including South America and Mexico, Melbourne and Istanbul, as well as performances at Coachella and Tomorrowland. He recently headlined Ultra Miami 2025 and will be headlining Coachella next year.

The main star of this year’s ceremony, however, is the Chinese artist G.E.M, one of the most popular pop artists in China and the voice behind this year’s Worlds song, Sacrifice.

With over 120 original songs and a Guinness World Record for her hit “Light Years Away,” G.E.M. is popular in the Chinese-speaking communities across the globe. Known for her amazing vocals, the artist has recently held the “I Am Gloria” World Tour with 86 shows.

As usual, the opening ceremony will be taking place before the finalists step on the stage on November 9 at 8 a.m. CET (3 p.m. Chinese time). To watch the opening ceremony and the Worlds 2025 final, you can head over to lolesports.com or the official YouTube and Twitch channels. If you want to enjoy the action with friends or fellow esports fans, Riot Games has detailed a list of watch parties across the globe.
