Karmine Corp KCX5 Pushed Back to 2026

KCX5 was too close to the end-of-year holiday season

In the public statement released by the French organization, KC stated that the planned schedule for KCX5, which was set to take place on December 19-20 at the Adidas Arena in Paris, was too close to the holidays. Considering that, the organization said it couldn’t deliver a show that lived up to the passion and expectations of its fanbase.

As a result, the esports team will have revised version of the event, with full details arriving in early 2026. It will also have a different format compared to the planned December version. KCX5 was supposed to have a large scale celebration coming with the roster revals of its team in the upcoming competitive year.

Refunds will be made to Ticket Holders

With the event being pushed back, the organization said that ticket holders will be able to receive full refunds from its ticket partners. They also stated that additional support and claim for compensation can be made for fans attending from outside the Île de France region.

A Look Back at the KCX Legacy

KCX has been hosting their own event since 2020. Each edition features show matches, live entertainment, roster reveals, and much more. The last edition, KCX4, saw thousands attending and over 174,000 people watching online when KC faced Spanish team KOI.

Karmine Corp is set to raise their bar for Performance once again

As one of, if not, the most popular French esports organization, KCorp has had a strong year when it comes to competitive results. Founded in 2020 by popular streamers Kamel ‘Kameto’ Kebir and Zouhair ‘Kotei’ Darji, Karmine Corp is one of the most popular European esports organisations, particularly within the French esports ecosystem.

In League of Legends, the team was able to win the LEC Winter split and represent the region at First Stand. Unfortunately, it barely missed out on a Worlds qualification, finishing fourth place in the LEC Summer Finals. Its academy team was able to win the EMEA Masters Summer tournament, and will be able to compete in LEC Versus next year, fielding two squads in the opening tournament of the 2026 season.

In Riot Games’ other flagship title, VALORANT, KC was able to take part at the Esports World Cup tournament despite being a bottom-tier team in the EMEA league. The team’s VALORANT Game Changers roster, on the other hand, won EMEA Stage 2 and will be competing at the GC Championship in Seoul, starting on November 20.

Operationally, the organisation has been solid as well. Earlier this year, Karmine Corp’s CEO announced that the organisation achieved profitability once again in 2024, boasting a 70% increase in revenue and a surplus on player transfers. This was further highlighted by the launch of a 3,000-seater arena in Evry, which was used for the LEC Roadtrip earlier this year and record-breaking jersey revenues.
