To hard carry as Lucian in League of Legends, having a strong partner is a must: here are the five best Lucian supports you can play with him this season.

Best Lucian supports in LoL

Despite having one of the shortest auto-attack ranges in the game, Lucian is the type of marksman who thrives in the laning phase. Thanks to his mobility and high damage in short trades, he can quickly gain major advantages to snowball the lane and take over the game. Considering he falls off compared to most ADCs later on, maximizing his value is key and the right supports can greatly enhance his early-game dominance.

Best Lucian Supports in 2025

  1. Nami
  2. Leona
  3. Braum
  4. Milio
  5. Yuumi

Nami – The Undisputed Best support for Lucian

  • W and E proc Lucian’s passive
  • Heals and poke keep trades in Lucian’s favor
  • The best support for early-game aggressiveness

Ever since Lucian had his passive reworked, Nami became the go-to bot lane pairing. Often played in pro play, Nami’s entire kit perfectly boosts Lucian’s passive, allowing him to get lots of extra damage during the early game trades. Paired with the heal from the W, Lucian can consistently play aggressively in the laning phase. Later in the game, the two will still be a major threat if Lucian can dish out his DPS safely.

Leona – The All-In Partner

  • Hard CC chain can also proc Lucian’s passive
  • Brings more frontline to the comp
  • Best to punish immobile enemies

While enchanters are generally considered a strong pairing for Lucian, Leona has been one of the few options to have success with the ADC champion. She is quite easy to play and her engage is great to lock down single targets, allowing Lucian to burst them down with his abilities. It might be a bit tougher to play later on without the peeling tools that a champion like Nami offers so positioning is key to mastering this combo.

Braum – The kiting duo

  • Lucian’s double shots stack Braum’s passive faster
  • Defensive peel and strong frontline presence
  • Great for teamfighting

If you still want a tanky option but also stronger peeling potential, then Braum is the ideal choice. Lucian can quickly stack Braum’s passive and stun key targets and the support can use his other abilities to keep Lucian safe from incoming threats. You lose out in aggressiveness, though, so you need to have other engage options in the team composition.

Milio – The Nami alternative

  • Extends Lucian’s range for better spacing
  • Big shields and heals later on
  • Ultimate cleanses crowd controls

If Nami is the best support for Lucian when it comes to aggression, Milio is a more balanced option. He can still buff up Lucian’s auto attacks through his abilities but packs more defensive options in the laning phase. The best part of this duo is Milio’s ability to increase Lucian’s auto attack while healing him in the Cozy Campfire (W), allowing him to juggle the space better in skirmishes and teamfights.

Yuumi – The best for late-game scaling

  • Attaches to Lucian for strong sustain
  • The best champion to peel Lucian in the late game

Yuumi is also a popular Lucian support, although she is now in quite a weak state. The positives of this pairing come from Yuumi’s ability to keep Lucian alive in the teamfights with enormous shields and buffs, but the ADC also faces more pressure early on due to the lack of engage and Yuumi’s weak early trades. If you excel at playing safely and don’t get punished often for overstepping, this is a strong carry duo you can go for.
