Fortnite competitive has seen tons of players move in and out over the years, but one of the best remembered is Benjyfishy. He’s now retired, but up until 2022 he was a major player in Fortnite esports. He was a constant in Finals lobbies in Europe. Eventually, Benjyfishy moved on to Valorant. And has become an incredible player in that game. But in the MrSavage Fortnite skin he’s got a little shout out in Fortnite again too, he’s still got a presence even in Chapter 6 of the game!
In Valorant, Benjyfishy has gone on to great success. Being one of the rare examples of a player who can excel in multiple games. Maybe because he started in Fortnite so young. Playing with Team Heretics in Valorant, Benjyihsy is performing really strong in that game right now. Including being part of the winning team at the Esports World Cup for Valorant.

Benjyfishy Easter Egg in New Mr Savage Fortnite Skin
This week, we’re getting a MrSavage Fortnite Icon Series skin! The special series where Epic includes real world figures in Fortnite as skins. The MrSavage skin features a pickaxe of a red axe. But hanging off the axe pole is a little keyring. A small fish! Benjyfishy on Twitter confirmed the fish was a shout out to him.
The player might have moved on to Valorant, but it’s great to see him still being included in Fortnite. By way of another European pro’s new icon skin. The former Fortnite pro said of the fish:
“Got a little fish in Fortnite dedicated to me, thanks to the goat MrSavage. Love u my bro congrats so well deserved”
MrSavage and Benjyfishy were always a friendly Duo. Since they both played in older Fortnite seasons, it’s fun to see the pickaxe still included this easter egg. Now that the Cup or the skin has wrapped up, we’re expecting the skins and other cosmetics to come to the item shop this weekend.
