Here at Hotspawn.com, we take esports extremely seriously and Dota 2 in particular. That’s why, when I got the chance to chat with Wu “Sneyking” Jingjun and Ammar “ATF” Al-Assaf for a few minutes at ESL One Bangkok, I really took the opportunity to ask hard hitting questions every fan needs to know the answer to.

What Dota item would they own in real life? If they existed in the game, what would their Ahganim’s do? This is real journalism and I expect this will cement my career in esports. Or something like that. Anyway.
First question: what do you guys think is the best hero in this very old meta right now?
Sneyking: The best hero, for sure, has to be Ammar’s Bristleback.
ATF: My Bristleback. That I lost with, but yeah.
Sophie: I mean, it’s still the best in the game, right?
Who is your favorite team to play against? Who do you have the most fun with?
Sneyking: Most fun? Hmm… BetBoom.
ATF: I’d say OG, since the games are clowny.
Sophie: And I guess you know them pretty well, right?
ATF: Yeah, OG. OG or Nigma, I guess.
Sophie: Okay, you’re probably going to beat them at this point, right?
ATF: No, they will actually most likely beat us.
If you could own a Dota item in real life, what would you pick?
Sneyking: Divine Rapier, because I think it’s just a cool-looking sword.
Sophie: That’s it, we all love to have a cool-looking sword.
What about you, ATF?
ATF: Aegis of Immortality. Because I want to die once.
Sophie: And never again, right?

So one last question for you guys:
If you were a Dota hero, like yourself in the game, what would your Aghs do?
ATF: Aghanim’s Scepter?
Sneyking: To be able to see the future, like to predict the next play.
Sophie: OK, I like it! How about you?
ATF: My Aghanim’s will be changing myself with someone, so I’ll become the other guy, and the other guy will become me.
Sophie: Why?
ATF: It’s a cool concept when I think of it.
Sophie: It definitely is a cool concept. So a bit like Morphling, right?
ATF: Somewhat, but we’d just change places, like he becomes me, and I become him.
Sophie: I see, OK great, thank you so much guys.
Unfortunately, Team Falcons’ run at ESL One Bangkok has already come to an end after they were eliminated in one of the most heart-stopping series I, and everyone else in the room, have ever seen.
There’s no hiding the fact that Falcons are one of the best Dota 2 teams in the world right now, a title that is more than a little difficult to hold on to. After playing back to back tournaments, they now have some well deserved down time to recharge and come back for the 2025 season.
