This took quite a bit longer than I personally expected, but two-time International champions OG have just released their entire Dota 2 roster, as announced on their official social media channels.
This lineup, which first formed around Tamir “daze” Tokpanov in February this year, played at the International 2025 (TI14) Western European qualifiers — but fell short of the goal after losing to Nigma Galaxy in the lower bracket final. Since then, they’ve tried a few different iterations of the roster, none of which saw any real success at the top level.
At the time of the announcement, the players released by OG aside from daze include Indji “Shad” Lub, Igor “Stojkov” Stojkov, and Mihajlo “MikSa`” Jovanovic. Team owner and former International champion Johan “n0tail” Sundstein replaced Rodrigo “Lelis” Santos when the latter left in the middle of October, and will make up the last player leaving the active roster. Naturally, n0tail will stay with the organization.
Nothing about this comes as a surprise knowing which organization I’m talking about. Over the last few years, OG has been the very definition of “unstable” when it comes to their Dota 2 squad.
After Jesse “JerAx” Vainikka’s retirement. the Topias “Topson” Taavitsainen, Sébastien “Ceb” Debs continued with Martin “Saksa” Sazdov at TI10 — but this legendary lineup went their separate ways the year after. This heralded the start of the Bozhidar “bzm” Bogdanov era, which lasted three whole years with multiple roster changes in between.
After a difficult start to the season, we have made the tough decision to part ways with our current active Dota 2 roster.
We'd like to thank the team for their hard work and enthusiasm during their time with us, and truly wish them the best with their future projects – we'll… pic.twitter.com/lF948yDhi4

Since bzm left late in 2024, though, OG has not found any stability at all. They’ve been throwing stuff at the wall and seeing what sticks, which is to say that none of it ever did. The lineup that they just released performed embarrassingly bad even in tier 2 and tier 3 tournaments, and it was obvious that it was not long for this world.
So here we are, with the whole team now out of the organization. It remains to be seen whether or not OG will pursue other players to form another roster, but at this point, I really would like to see them cool off on Dota for a while. So much for “we believe in this project”, huh?
