ESL One Bangkok is in full swing, with the group stage well underway. Teams are now fighting for upper bracket berths through the three days of preliminary matches — and already there are outcomes that align almost perfectly with our power rankings. If you’ve been unable to check the games out for yourself, don’t worry — we’ve got all the results right here.

Just as a reminder, all group stage matches are best-of-two in a round robin setting. The 12 teams at ESL One Bangkok are split into two groups of six squads each.
ESL One Bangkok: Group Stage Day 1 Scores
ESL One Bangkok Group A (Day 1) | ||
---|---|---|
Team 1 | Score | Team 2 |
Team Falcons | 2-0 | Team Spirit |
AVULUS | 1-1 | BOOM Esports |
Na’Vi | 0-2 | Shopify Rebellion |
Team Falcons | 1-1 | AVULUS |
Na’Vi | 0-2 | Team Spirit |
Shopify Rebellion | 1-1 | BOOM Esports |
Group A has gone more or less as expected. Team Falcons are leading the charge at three wins and one loss, but there is a surprising early development: they are actually tied with Shopify Rebellion. Granted, Shopify have yet to face either Falcons or Team Spirit in the group stage, so we aren’t putting too much stock into their early success.

Na’Vi, as predicted, have stumbled out of the gate. They are 0-4 to begin the preliminaries, and will be searching for answers moving forward. They could be staring down the barrel of an early exit from ESL One Bangkok if they don’t figure things out soon — but then again, not too many expected them to perform well here anyway. They can at least look at this tournament as something to gain experience from if they do get eliminated quickly.
ESL One Bangkok Group B (Day 1) | ||
---|---|---|
Team 1 | Score | Team 2 |
BetBoom Team | 1-1 | PARIVISION |
Team Liquid | 1-1 | Gaozu |
beastcoast | 1-1 | Nigma Galaxy |
BetBoom Team | 2-0 | Team Liquid |
Nigma Galaxy | 1-1 | Gaozu |
beastcoast | 0-2 | PARIVISION |
More of the same over on the other side of the group stage, with BLAST Slam 1 champions BetBoom Team in front alongside their rivals in PARIVISION. These two teams couldn’t be in better form right now, and it’s highly likely that they will both finish the group stage clinching upper bracket slots.
we love our fountain dives don't we 😌#ESLOne pic.twitter.com/URCdgWzkJ0

Gaozu have been doing just fine, with two wins and two losses to their name right now. This is about where we thought they’d be, though we wouldn’t necessarily be shocked to see them sneaking into the upper bracket. After all, they’ve got the talent and experience to pull it off. Neck and neck with them are Nigma Galaxy, who are also managing to hang in there early on.
Team Liquid have been a disappointment so far, straddling the elimination slots after a rough first day. They have at least won one map so far, which officially makes them better off than Na’Vi, but it’s not been smooth sailing for the TI13 champions.
ESL One Bangkok: Group Stage Day 2 Scores
ESL One Bangkok Group A (Day 2) | ||
---|---|---|
Team 1 | Score | Team 2 |
Team Spirit | 1-1 | AVULUS |
Na’Vi | 2-0 | BOOM Esports |
Shopify Rebellion | 0-2 | Team Falcons |
BOOM Esoprts | 1-1 | Team Falcons |
Na’Vi | 0-2 | AVULUS |
Team Spirit | 1-1 | Shopify Rebellion |
The Group A results from Day 2 are nothing strange, with Falcons keeping their healthy lead at 6-2 by the day’s end. Shopify have since slipped to third place alongside Spirit, after losing three maps in total and winning just one.

What is surprising here is that Na’Vi actually managed to win not only one game, but an entire series. Granted, it was only against BOOM Esports (a team that also has a negative record), but this new roster will take any positive outcomes they can get. They probably won’t make it into the playoffs here, but as long as they can learn and grow from this experience, that should be a win in their book.
ESL One Bangkok Group B (Day 2) | ||
---|---|---|
Team 1 | Score | Team 2 |
Nigma Galaxy | 1-1 | BetBoom Team |
PARIVISION | 2-0 | Team Liquid |
beastcoast | 1-1 | Gaozu |
Team Liquid | 1-1 | Nigma Galaxy |
Gaozu | 0-2 | PARIVISION |
beastcoast | 0-2 | BetBoom Team |
Group B’s Day 2 results are not much different, with the placings staying almost static relative to Day 1. The most notable thing here is that at seven wins and just one loss, PARIVISION are the first team to clinch an upper bracket berth in the playoffs. They’ve been on fire so far in the group stage to say the least, and might just make it to the top 3 again like they often have been lately.
Congratulations to the first team to advance to the #ESLOne Bangkok Playoffs; @parivisiongg! 👏#RoadToEWC pic.twitter.com/TgVQFNs0Wz

On the other side, Team Liquid are in serious trouble. A 0-2 loss to PARIVISION followed by a tie between themselves and Nigma Galaxy means that they are now 2-6 in maps, and dead last in the group with beastcoast. With only one series remaining for them tomorrow, they will have to win that match to reduce the chances of them getting eliminated as a consequence of other results in their group.
ESL One Bangkok: Group Stage Day 3 Scores

---|---|---|
Team 1 | Score | Team 2 |
BOOM Esports | 1-1 | Team Spirit |
AVULUS | 1-1 | Shopify Rebellion |
Na’Vi | 0-2 | Team Falcons |
Again, not much to talk about here in Group A for Day 3. Na’Vi’s 0-2 result versus Team Falcons means they are now eliminated from the tournament.
Unfortunately we've got to say goodbye to our first team here at #ESLOne Bangkok; @natusvincere has been eliminated. #RoadToEWC pic.twitter.com/XjVahsGEyd

They probably would have liked to take at least one game off of Falcons here, but it wasn’t meant to be. They will now have to go back to the drawing board with the experience they’ve gained.
ESL One Bangkok Group B (Day 3) | ||
---|---|---|
Team 1 | Score | Team 2 |
beastcoast | 0-2 | Team Liquid |
Gaozu | 0-2 | BetBoom Team |
PARIVISION | 2-0 | Nigma Galaxy |
Well, would you look at that: Team Liquid managed to win a group stage series for once in this tournament. This result actually helped propel them just out of the danger zone with a record of four wins and six losses, so we will be seeing them in the lower bracket after such a rough start to ESL One Bangkok.

Nigma Galaxy fans can also breathe a sigh of relief now, as they are safely through to the playoffs. Incredibly, Gaozu didn’t even get a chance at any tiebreaker situation after losing both their games to BetBoom Team, so they are now gone from the tournament. Quite a disappointing outcome for such a talented roster.
