Another round of Dota 2 qualifiers is upon us in the new year, with DreamLeague Season 28 now in the process of determining which teams will face up against the ESL Pro Tour (EPT) leaders in March.

DreamLeague Season 28 qualifiers — All qualifier results

As usual, the six major Dota regions will do battle for the right to play at DreamLeague. There are even a few teams here that you would not expect, thinking that they wouldn’t have to go through qualifiers because of how good they are — but that’s just the beauty of the EPT leaderboard. Anyway, here are the results of all six regional qualifiers, updated as they come in!

Western Europe — MOUZ & TBD

PGL Wallachia Season 6 winners MOUZ were the first to come out of the Western European qualifiers, beating everyone else to the punch for the first of two qualifier slots for the region. They did this by taking out Team Falcons in a hard-fought three-game series, with Daniyal “yamich” Lazebnyy proving once again why he is one of the best position 4 players in the world right now.

By that I mean that he used his signature support Pudge to insanely good effect in the third game of this series in particular, suffocating Falcons every which way with his impeccable timing as a roamer. In fact, Falcons didn’t even get to play the game much at all in the third map, though the reverse could be said for the second game when they shut MOUZ out of that one as well.

Either way, this is great for MOUZ and the continuation of their development as a unit. They’ll need every chance they can get to sharpen their consistency and chemistry together, and taking out a world class team like Falcons to qualify for DreamLeague is a good step towards that.

Eastern Europe — TBD

North America — TBD

South America — TBD

Southeast Asia — TBD

China — TBD
