After going on several deep international runs without a sponsor, the experienced Team Tidebound roster was finally picked up by an organization, but one the Dota 2 scene has not seen before.

A New Home – All Gamers Acquire Team Tidebound

All Gamers Enters Dota 2

Though the Chinese scene has been relatively silent, the All Gamers organization finally made a significant development by acquiring Team Tidebound, arguably the best team in the region in 2025.

Following this move, the Tidebound roster remains unchanged under the AG banner, retaining the same veteran lineup:

  • Guo “shiro” Xuanang
  • Cheng “NothingToSay” Jin Xiang
  • Zhang “Bach” Ruida
  • Lin “planet” Hao
  • Zhang “y`” Yiping

The official statement from All Gamers on X read:

“Tidebound will officially rebrand and join All Gamers Global (AG Global). Together, we will ensure that the legacy of “CN DOTA NEVER DIE” echoes across the globe.”

On A Tear And Finally Backed

It’s about time the roster was picked up. Team Tidebound has already demonstrated top-tier form, with podium finishes at recent events like FISSURE Universe: Episode 4, PGL Wallachia Season 4, and a strong showing at BLAST Slam III, where they pushed Team Spirit to the brink in the quarterfinals.

It is truly remarkable that the Chinese squad achieved such results in one of the most competitive eras in Dota 2 without an organizational sponsor. With AG backing them, Tidebound will have the financial support to match their performance.

Who Are All Gamers?

All Gamers, often stylized as AG, is a Chinese esports organization that started as a StarCraft II team. Since then, the banner has built a strong presence across multiple titles, including CrossFire and Honor of Kings, and is known for its 12-man roster in Valorant.

Honestly, this is a fantastic pickup for the organization. The current Tidebound roster has proven experience, including TI victories under their belt. However, household Chinese organizations that invested in Dota, such as Team Aster and LGD Gaming, have experienced financial issues, so hopefully, All Gamers can find a way to sustain its venture.

Onto The Next Tournament

The Tidebound boys are looking to bring their momentum to future tournaments, this time donning a new jersey. The team is set to continue playing in the Asian Champions League 2025, where they’ll compete for $150,000 and a ticket to the Esports World Cup. They’ll be facing regional competition in the likes of Xtreme Gaming, Yakult’s Brothers, and Excel Esports.
