Team Liquid has announced the return of North American legend EliGE, following almost two years away from the CS2 team with Complexity and FaZe Clan. EliGE was previously part of Team Liquid’s Grand Slam-winning lineup in 2019, becoming one of the organization’s most historic players.

EliGE arrives back home
EliGE’s return was announced on X, days before Team Liquid are set to compete with the NA player at the Birch Cup. The transfer was previously leaked by Fragadelphia, which published EliGE as part of its roster for the upcoming Blocktober event.

EliGE replaces another North American icon in the Team Liquid CS2 lineup, replacing Twistzz, who has moved the other way in a return to FaZe Clan. It’s a move that feels like it will be mutually beneficial for all parties at this point, following all of their struggles throughout 2025, teams and players.
EliGE’s previous stint on Team Liquid ended in 2023, by which point he had spent eight years with the team. If his second tenure is as fruitful as the first, then NA is so, so back.
